Transparency and communication is something that heavily needs to be worked on! Towards the end of my case, i was under the impression that my attorney Andrew was trying to get another doctor’s appointment for me to refute my employer’s doctor’s claims. Instead, months later, he lets me know that he already went into discussions with the judge and my employer’s attorneys already and was more focused on just wrapping everything up. Fast forward, basically everything else that went on after settling, I had to reach out to the law firm FIRST just to get any updates on my case. They didn’t care enough to let me know. Ron was over my case temporarily while Andrew was gone, and he had my settlement papers already ready. Yet they told me originally that they were waiting on the arbitrator. After digging myself, the arbitrator already APPROVED everything. The law firm just didn’t have the decency to let me know until i kept emailing them. Initially, i was told that this was the best worker’s comp law firm in Illinois. That was a lie. Not saying they are the worst in the world, however, communication and transparency need to be improved otherwise, a lot of actions done by these young inexperienced lawyers prove to be sneaky and conniving in a sense. If you go with this law firm, go with the most experienced lawyer. You guys talk a good game but don’t really back up what you guys say. At all…
