I was busted for street racing and hit with a couple tickets and 2 charges. State wanted convictions and large fines, I was going to lose my license. Mr. Komie represented me and in the end, I had a deferred prosecution and had to attend a safety school course where I learned better driving behaviors. I was required to go to university. Now I have no record and I leave for school in few weeks and i’m excited. I’m thankful for another chance at a clean slate.

Call me old school or having common sense, but Aaron is AMAZING. It’s a big decision finding an attorney for situation(s) he specializes in. Before I chose him I read so many reviews of so many attorney’s. Was exhausting. I started at the 1 star’s to see what the complaints were. Well what people have said is insanity. He told me he mostly handles leases and security deposits, and does it quick. I’m sure there are other intangibles, but he’s upfront and honest about those. Some of the issues I’ve had with my landlord are a little complex and he knew right away I could break my lease (with his help) and maybe recover at least some of the deposit, but since my landlord is just some random guy that doesn’t really get it, he was blunt in saying I would be free and clear of the lease, but given the landlord’s stupidity about damages (100% not my fault and within tenant laws), said no matter what keep it in mind. My situation was unbelievably unique - I’ve been at the same place for 15 years. Landlord doesn’t understand wear and tear and sun damage on a hardwood floor. Not to mention a bathroom ceiling crashing down. The door is open for him to help, but again – terminating a lease and fighting for a deposit is what he attacks and wins. Other stuff is technically another area. But good news is Aaron knocks out stuff that's needed regardless. No guarantee my landlord is going to try and blame me afterwards, but with the lease legally broken his options become super limited. Again - My situation isn't common (from landlord to stupidity). He won’t take you on if he doesn’t believe he won’t win for you. Think about it – It’d be a waste of time. My situation is super unique, so don’t be wigged out about it. For typical renter stuff firmly believe you’ll be fine. If I was here for 2 years it’d be an open/shut case. And especially if it’s a real landlord or property company. They probably get it and move on. He definitely has a strong, blunt character and doesn’t try to talk over your head, but I’d rather have someone honest and real than some uptight ‘take your money and we’ll see’ attorney. Can’t say enough about how much he’s helped. But again – Breaking leases and maybe recovering something is what he handles easily and stress-free. If you don’t want life/money drama – absolutely use him!!

I connected with Aaron in Nov 2020 when he helped me break my lease. Aaron was so knowledgeable with RLTO and the law that he was able to successfully and legally terminate my lease almost immediately. On top of that, he was able to sue my landlord for illegally keeping my security deposit and additional reasons, so I ended up with even more money back. That sets Aaron apart from others; he went above and beyond in that sense, maybe the most others would have done was break my lease and that's it, but Aaron did everything that he could do. My particular case did take a while, but I remained patient and we kept in touch every couple months or so. I would recommend Aaron to anyone who is having trouble in a landlord-tenant situation. He's also very personable, so that made me feel comfortable reaching out to him, asking him questions, and he reassured me everything was going to turn out fine. Aaron was referred to us by another attorney to handle a Cook County RLTO case - landlord didn’t pay back security deposit. He was quick to respond and was knowledgeable about tenant rights, even though the new law had only recently gone into effect. He filed a complaint, located landlord’s actual address to serve her, and successfully settled with the landlord to our satisfaction.

If it was possible to give this individual 0 stars I would.. Please take serious at the negative reviews in regard to using this individual service. He's extremely rude condescending and very Condescending in his dialog. I would not recommend anyone contacting this individual in the situation where they are in need of assistance with any legal matter pertaining to any legal situation situation. Don't use this individual in my opinion you will not get the "" results that hes so adamantly speaks on getting. you will get none

I recently spoke with Aaron regarding an extremely unique situation as a Chicago tenant with a lease ending and the landlord passing away with in two weeks. Because of this it has been over 3 months and my security deposit has not been returned. I’ve been trying to navigate what my rights are and how to pursue the return of the security deposit. As a complete stranger that emailed/called Aaron he spent half an hour on the phone with me going through my options and guiding me on an email to be sent to the known family contacts of the previous landlord, at no charge!!
