Arrogant and condescending manner of Mr. Komie may lead you to think he is a confident lawyer. At the time he was reviewing my case he indeed sounded confident provided examples of his international extradition cases won. Spend time to chat about his awesome travels as well, little did we know that he will be travelling while our case was in the works. No show to court, delaying hearings because of his travels, never a follow up and when the case was lost he didn’t even have a decency to inform us. I got few second reviews from other lawyer’s who stated that case was not argued properly. Komie admitted to everything that prosecution filed. Last court hearing Komie had guts to tell the judge that “He desired not to write 40 page argument before the 4th of July, so everyone can have a great holiday”. Instead he verbally and laimely argued for 2 mintutes. Judge mentioned in his final judgment 3 times that the defence was weak. Not ones in 7 month did he return a call or replied on email. His gate keeper Mary, poor thing, doesn’t help much either. Promises promises and a week long wait! Horrible. We will file a complaint for negligence and scam against Komi. I will not recommend Komie and associates to my enemy. Good luck to all!

Stephen Komie and Eric Andersen and the entire firm are outstanding lawyers and people. They handled my DUI case which was looking to be a potential felony with jail time and were able to reduce it to a misdemeanor with two years probation. Steven and Eric know their way around the Cook County criminal court rooms and provided me the care and compassion needed to get me the best possible result for my case. My poor sainted mother, Dorothy, 20 years ago tripped and sailed through a plate glass window. The subdural hematoma changed her life forever. My mother could no longer navigate the city by bus, go to the race track, or take care of herself. We lived together. I took care of her. One day, my estranged sister showed up from Florida. Mom was taken my sister’s brother-in-law’s dining room to write a new will and deed the house to her. It was my sister’s plan to inherit from my mother and leave me penniless without a home. The brother-in-law prepared a Power of Attorney (POA) and a new deed taking the house away in favor of my sister who lives in Florida. When Mom died, my sister decided to evict me. My good friend, Jack, said you got to get Mr. Komie. Mr. Komie took me to court and stopped my sister from evicting me. The look on my sister’s face when the judge said “no eviction” was worth everything. Priceless! Mr. Komie obtained an injunction and stopped the Sheriff from throwing me in the street. He kept me in the house until I was ready to settle the case. He even got me money which I needed to start all over from the sale of Mom’s house. I want to thank the entire team of Mr. Komie’s professionals who stood by me through the terrible times caused by my nasty sister. I called and talk to the receptionist who told me she wanted me to meet with the attorney next week as he was out of the office. I asked if receptionist if she could email me the information because I am on the road calling trying to find attorney she said she does not email people. I was a little confused because at one point during Covid email is the only way you can communicate so I asked her to please give me her phone number so I can type it in my phone while I was driving and her name. She told me she doesn’t give out information. This was the most rude thing I’ve ever heard of an attorney’s office telling me they don’t give out their name, but they want me to forward my information to them. Poor customer service. I don’t trust him I wouldn’t use them that was the most ignorant thing I’ve ever heard.

I was busted driving my car through Blue Island, IL smoking a doobie. I need medical marihuana because I have a herniated spine. The pain is excruciating so I took a smoke to kill the pain and allowed me to get through the day. The sergeant who busted me said the smoke was coming out the window. He put me in handcuffs and found my edible gummies and ginger snaps. So I went down for a felony. To top it off he threw in an intoxicated driving. I was up for Manufacture and Delivery plus DUI plus Driving while Smoking. I contacted NORML, they recommended Stephen Komie. I cannot tell you what a wonderful job he did busting the fuzz. When all was said and done the felony was gone, the driving while intoxicated was gone, and I left the courthouse after pleading guilty to misdemeanor possession of edibles Komie saved my life. So I am still able to get a job, earn money and have a career. If you’re busted by the cops, you need Komie.
