Mike, his team and I were in a very rough place when he agreed to take over my divorce case that had been going on for nearly 2 years. I had fired my previous attorney due to extremely poor service and Mike took over with about a month before the case was set to go to trial. Mike and his team treated me like a person, valued my input and gave very great advice. He treated me more like a friend rather than a client. I came to Mr. Gauthier regarding a divorce. He claimed for it to go smoothly and simply. And had it not been for him maybe it would have. Mr Gauthier wanted to have me contact my ex-wife instead of having him do so. When I informed her that I have a lawyer and to have no communication with me and only Mr Gauthier he informed us that he would not speak with her. Through the many issues I had to go through in my divorce, my lawyer provided little to no help. Our marriage settlement had plenty of errors that I was charged to get fixed, including having both me and my wife as the "husband ". Once all was said and done, I tried to understand my bill from Mr. Gauthier and his response is taking me to court for not paying, when I made contact multiple times to set up payments, which he added to my bill and informed me me months after our agreed payments
