I worked there year and half and it was a great place to work until they kept hiring ops managers that would lie to you, talk to you any way they saw fit, and bullied you and made it a hostile work environment and threaten to drop your pay. The big guy there doesn't answer employee emails regarding this situation and this company continues to allow. So my rating of 4.5 now is a 1

Where to begin…at the local GM plant. Do not consider working for this company, especially at this location. The so-called ‘chief’ wants to be #1 but they treat their supervisors like zeros. The ‘chief’ is inconsistent with protocol - one day, the rule is this, the next it’s something else. They do not have their shift supervisor’s back, especially with managing subordinate, unjustified last minute call-offs. They hire individuals who are unable to physically and mentally handle the job. Yes, physically and mentally uniquely-abled individuals deserve to work (and Allied gets government perks for hiring them) but not if they can’t get where they are supposed to be within the time limits or have to call-off all the time. The GM employees do not respect the security team and do not seem to be encouraged by the company to do so. The Allied Universal (a non-union company) and GM Automotive (a union company) fails to represent the security guard profession in a positive light, especially when it comes to the mediocre, less-than-a-livable age salary that they pay. Don’t apply here - many folks are gone within the first year. They cheat their employees out of vacation/holiday pay and expect second shift personnel to come right back in the following morning (only eight hours later) for relatively non-productive monthly meetings. You would think that GM, a company that makes a sickening amount of money for their extravagantly priced trucks could afford a more reputable security guard company - NOT! So sad for the great Republican state of Indiana. It’s not just Roe v. Wade that has been rolled back to the relative dark ages…It is non-union companies like Allied, contracted by unionized companies like GM that harken back to the days befor any unions that do such a great disservice to the underpaid, under-benefited people who cannot quit their positions for something better because of their age, being differently-abled or just plain undereducated (even with college education). “Attitude reflects leadership, captain” but in today’s corporate and political environment, integrity and appreciation for the ‘little guy’ - the backbones of industries - is becoming non-existent. So much for GM ‘standing together’ with all its affiliated workers…contracting with low-level security does not ‘drive the world (of many) forward’. All one can say, is that Allied gave me a job…with minimal provision and equally minimal respect.

If I could rate zero I would. Patty and Courtney within Indiana steal your money and if you say anything they move you in between positions and leave you there to be forgotten. And the people at the office are rude and inconsiderate about anything to do in your life to help you get ahold of anyone you need to talk to. I wouldn't work for this company unless you like working more for less.
