How can you do better for your client than obtaining a settlement well in excess of what the client expected. Rich did just that. He was cost conscious asking me, if I wanted to pay for a deposition or pass due to costs? I left that chose to Rich who chose yes and I'm glad he did. The deposition appeared to have increased the settlement in mediation quite significantly. Rich was obviously very well prepared for the deposition with a good retention of the facts and issues supporting my claim. I am not an Attorney but my two kids are so I get it. Law is a business so chose a lawyer that's a winner. I did and it provided great results.

I was referred to David through a friend. Although he was unable to take my case, he gave me the time to go through the whole situation and explained why it was not right for him. He told me what I should be looking for and he referred me to another medical mal practice attorney who was also unable to take my case. David was wonderful to speak with and knows his stuff. He guided me to look for certain attributes in law firms and that was very helpful. Last Friday I got an email from an attorney’s office asking if I would be willing to speak with them. They got my name and overview of my case from David. Once he referred me back in July, I didn’t think I would be on his radar as he is very busy, talks with lots of people daily along with everything else he does as the founding member of his firm. Dave Currie was the best person and lawyer I could have found for my case. My case was a sexual assault case, the incident occurred at a nationally known massage establishment by a licensed massage therapist. Needless to say the case could have been extremely uncomfortable for me, but Dave made every step of the process comfortable and as easy as possible. Dave Currie is an outstanding lawyer. I was injured in and explosion that left me with permanent hearing damage. Due to my field of business, it was a career ending injury and very important to me. The first lawyer I contacted was horrible. The initial consult was great but it wasnt long before I was wondering what else I needed to be doing and where my case stood. After numerous attempts to reach him and few, if any, return calls, I researched specialized ear injury lawyers and found Dave Currie. After speaking to Dave on the phone for a brief description of his expertise, I fired my current lawyer and went to meet Dave and his team. Let me just say that immediately upon entering his office, I felt amazed at how professional and courteous everyone was. I sat down at a huge table and had 3 people completely focused on what I had to say. Kenya Cantrell, one of Dave's associates, began taking notes, and was ALWAYS available when Dave was not. She promptly returned phone calls and emails, and followed up with all my questions and even questions that I didn't know I had at the time. I was also very impressed at the level of communication that I had with Dave. There were quite a few times that he returned calls and emails on the weekends and days he was out of the office or off. Dave's knowledge of the specifics of my injury were very impressive. He knew some of the doctors that I have seen on a first name basis and was personally sympathetic to my condition. He was very honest with me at all times and if at any point he was unfamiliar with something, he said so, and promptly researched information and followed up with me about it. Dave went above and beyond to make sure that I knew what was going on and what all I needed to do while we were awaiting a hearing. During the time before my hearing, I had some troubling family problems and Dave was genuinely concerned for me and what was going on. He postponed a few things while I dealt with them and did not hound me into continuing my case until I was ready. He is very professional yet so comfortable talking to you, its like speaking to an old friend. As time started boiling down, we scheduled a deposition. Dave walked me through what would happen and gave me the direction that I needed to enter the deposition with confidence. After about 5 hours of depositions, things went exactly as Dave had explained. A few days passed and the negotiations began. Dave informed me in great detail what similar cases had settled for and suggested that I not set my sights too high. After many counter offers and Dave's expert negotiating, we settled for about 10 percent higher than the highest settlement for similar and some exceeding the damage that I suffered. I am so pleased that I chose Dave Currie. This was the only time I ever needed a lawyer and I was so relieved that everything went so smoothly. I couldn't have asked for anything more in a representative or a friend.

Marie is an exceptional human being, and the greatest lawyer you will ever find. When our house flooded over two years ago, we didn’t know what to do. Our house was destroyed, insurance denied our claim, my newborn baby was ill from the water/mold damage, and I was lost. It was such a dark time. I didn’t know where to go, what to do, or who to talk to. All I knew is that I needed to leave my home to keep my child in a safe environment, and that my house needed to be completely gutted and rebuilt. But where to begin? How could I afford it? Why wasn’t insurance doing what I paid for? I didn’t know how to answer ANY of those questions. Marie was like a knight in shining legal armor. At no upfront cost, she not only went to bat for me against my homeowner’s insurance, but she also helped me navigate where to go, who to talk to, and in what order to start tackling the demolition/reconstruction of my house. Long story short, resent college grad, no job yet, bills to the moon, car recently repossessed and I was having a hard time making ends meet! I was unsure about filing bankruptcy and I tried to work with my creditors, but when my car got repossessed, I really felt like I was at a dead end. That was when I decided that I needed a lawyer, and I found Joe.
This is the very first time I have had to hire a lawyer to represent me, and for my first experience with a lawyer it was a great experience! The thought of hiring a lawyer for the first time really made me nervous, especially for bankruptcy.
I wasn't interested in hiring a lawyer where I would only be working with his/her secretary or assistant. I was able to work directly with Joe. That really made me feel at ease that I would be getting answers directly from Joe, the attorney handling my case. Joe is very intelligent and very knowledgeable about the laws pertaining to my bankruptcy case.
He is definitely a people person! He was consistently available for questions and concerns and he has really gone the extra mile to make sure everything went smoothly. I firmly believe that there are only a few lawyers who are competent, hardworking and active like David.
I met several lawyers in my recent legal dispute and had asked several lawyers to resolve my legal issues. But David was the best lawyer I ever met. He is very abundant in legal knowledge and has a great ability to solve problems as a lawyer. Not only that, but David was sincere and worked my work as his own work. David is also a warm-hearted person with a love of humanity. I think he really understood my difficulties and did his best to save me from legal issues. He is my savior.
Before I met David, I contracted another lawyer. But the first lawyer I met did not show me the settlement, and he just put me on hold and made me nervous. But David was very different. He analyzed my case and found a point to prove my injustice and made a very active effort to bring this case to my advantage.
By the way, my case was settled by a jury trial to solve my injustice. In a jury trial, the role of a lawyer is of paramount importance, and attentive and active preparation is crucial for best results. David did this thoroughly. I attended the trial with him for two days, and I felt he was very proficient and professional in the jury trial.
His words are soft and gave me a detailed answer to my question. Also, I could feel trust in his words based on his knowledge. He always counted my heart and gave me relief.

This was a rough case which everyone said that it was impossible to sue an Insurance Company and win.
Kantor & Kantor made the impossible possible.
They were confident from the start that they were going to do their best to accomplish.
And they Concurred it with Hard word and the motivation to make it all happen.
I was told to sit back not to worry and let them do all the work which was a Big Relief due to the circumstances of the Lawsuit.
The Insurance company did everything they could to make things hard for all but Kantor & Kantor does not take no for an answer and continued on and showed them who was running the show.
Unfortunately my Love of my Life had passed during the case and Kantor & Kantor made it easy for me to convince the judge to let me continue the case in my name. In May 2020 amid the stress of the coronavirus shut down, I went for a Saturday morning motorcycle ride and a breath of fresh air.
After an oncoming car crossed double yellow lines and nearly amputated my leg, we learned that insurance companies tend to believe car drivers over Motorcyclists.
14 months and 12 surgeries later I will eventually walk again. However, it looked like that was going to cost my family everything.
Both insurance companies were claiming it was my fault in spite of evidence to the contrary. Even the famous "motorcycle lawyers" wouldn't take the case since it was just my word against theirs.
Both companies ended up paying out the maximum.
But that's not the end of the of the story. At this point most lawyers would've taken their cut and gone home.
But that's not what happened.
It turns out Medicare doesn't pay for motorcycle accidents and were coming after me for every bit of it. This last bit was not even in his purview.
Nonetheless, Shahriar went to work on them for months even though that was not part of our contract but just because in his own words "it's just the right thing to do".
I don't know if he eventually convinced them of that or if they gave in so he would stop following up with them every day. Either way, they accepted a greatly reduced payment.
I hope you never need to, but if you ever get in a situation where you need someone to fight for you like "a bulldog on a pant leg" and never give up because that's the right thing to do, I highly recommend Mr. Shahriar Kashanian. He won't let you down.
