Our company, located in Ontario, Canada, makes license plate recognition equipment that is used by cities and towns across the United States and Canada to manage parking. Our product monitors and encourages parking compliance and provides insight into people’s parking habits and their patronage of shops, restaurants and night clubs, dentists, doctors and lawyers and other commercial activity in downtown business areas. The general goal is to encourage parking turnover which makes a significant and positive impact to an average business’s revenue increasing the vitality, vibrancy, and desirability of the downtown core, and more generally, a city’s cachet and appeal.
We are a niche engineering-oriented company, and have a good reputation for quality, ease of use and customer service. A new client on Long Island, New York, approached us about our product. They liked what they saw and what it could do for their town and issued a Request for Proposal (RFP). Our company won the RFP and the town council approved the purchase, with the Mayor stating emphatically and publicly that they were very excited to have our equipment operational in their popular downtown. We were also very excited! We had a firm contract in a new area and their down payment in the bank. It takes about 12 weeks to build, customize and deliver our product.
After installing our equipment (during the peak of Covid19 in the fall of 2020), the town began to use it to monitor and enforce parking compliance and expressed complete satisfaction with their purchase. Around this time, a new Mayor and new councilors were voted in. The new Mayor soon made it clear that he did not like the look of the equipment, and stated they would not pay the remaining money, about $50,000. This was a body blow to us. The amount of money was substantial, but equally so was the arbitrary and unethical behaviour of the town’s mayor and colleagues. We had won the RFP, had a purchase order, a contract, and this was a fundamental breach of contract. Initial discussions with the town went nowhere.
I searched online for New York lawyers skilled in business litigation and with my daughter (a lawyer by training) teased out the type of person we thought most likely to succeed against a well funded town such as our misbehaving client. Aaron Schlossberg quickly rose to the top.
We spoke on the phone, and he immediately grasped the significance of the breach of contract. Moreover, Aaron brought energy and passion for justice which resonated with us. Internally we discussed and debated whom should we pick, and Aaron won hands down. So we started down the long and winding road to a just conclusion.

Moreover his writing was lucid, compelling, powerful. The court certainly agreed with him! We won our case, settled the legal action, and got paid.

I selected David Corrado because I believed he'd be a bulldog. I need someone tough for a fraud/unpaid debt case. He told me what I was up against, he told me it would cost me a LOT of money (his fees), and that it would be much greater if we had to go to court. He was right on all counts. It ended up being settled on the second round of mediation. It cost a LOT of money. But he put up with the deadbeat schmuck, and got him to pay. He made sure my interests were secured and that all loose ends were tied up. I probably could have paid less and gotten less, but I took a risk and I think it paid off.

Approximately 2 years ago I was a passenger in my husband’s car when we were rear ended at a stop light.
After the accident I had x-rays taken at a local hospital, had an MRI done, saw two doctors, went through physical therapy and paid all the bills associated with the physical damage done to my body after the accident.
In order to obtain compensation for my expenses, because the person who hit us was underinsured, I made an appointment with Mr. Griff Tonkin.
Griff and his staff walked me through a deposition, obtained a settlement reimbursing the hospital, doctors, the X-Ray company for the MRI, and my physical therapist with a professionalism I would expect from an attorney and his staff.

when I got into a car accident - all I wanted was to go see a doctor to get rid of my back pain but not all doctors accept patients from a car accident. - I called Iris and she got me assigned to a doctor right away. The doctors she sent me were really good. She took genuine care of my health and checked up on me to make sure that the treatment was working.
No need to follow up with her - she is always on top of the case.

I was in a horrific rollover collision where I was nearly killed. Another driver was at fault and crossed three lanes on the freeway, and hit me and rolled my car. My car was totally destroyed. I came to Mr. Tomasik from another attorney who was not capable of handling my particular case. I found his website while searching the internet for a personal injury attorney. I called the office and briefly spoke to Jessie, the assistant who was so polite and patient with me on the phone. She informed me that Mr. Tomasik agreed to meet up with me the same day. On my way to Berkley, I was very nervous as to how things were going to turn out because after all, I had such a bad experience with my previous lawyer. IAt the same time, I had serious painful health issues resulting from my car accident with which I had to deal with on a daily basis. Having to deal with terrible physical pain and looking for a different attorney for myself was very stressful for me. I arrived to Mr. Tomasik's Berkley office and upon entering I almost immediately felt comfortable. Mr. Tomasik got some information from me about my situation and how unhappy and disappointed I was in my previous lawyer. Like I said, at the time of my meeting with him, I was feeling very sick due to my injuries but Mr. Tomasik made me feel so comfortable. I was so glad that he was willing to take on my case. From then on, I don't have anything but all the positive things to say about Mr. Tomasik. He was always there to answer any questions I had along the way. I could reach him at all times. I couldn't reach my previous lawyer for weeks and I am not exagerating. I thought that was normal for lawyers not to call back promptly until I hired Mr. Tomasik. Most importantly, Mr. Tomasik treated me like family. He fought so hard for me to the end. Upon reading the other testimonials, I have come to realize that each case Mr. Tomasik takes on, he takes it very seriously and does not give up until he gets the best compensation. In my case, the process was very, very long but at the end he won a great settlement on my behalf. I appreciate all his help so much. After charging with a DUI, I searched for a lawyer that I can trust and rely on to defend me. I stumble on the Anthony Marcus Law Firm on Yelp. I was really amazed with the good reviews I was reading about attorney Marcus. I then went to other links that show more outstanding reviews. I, there and then decided to contact him, the reviews were really accurate, he was friendly, patient and explained all the steps of navigating the court regarding my case. I meet with him afterward. Immediately, I observed his confident and his knowledge of the law. He truly changed my anxiety to calmness. Not only he did what he said he will do, he is affordable. He gave me a discount after he initially gave me a good price compare to other attorneys’ quotes. When he appeared in court, Mr. Marcus immediately communicated with the DA and the court and got me a good deal from the court with no jail time even though my case involved property damages to others. Brett Bressler just handled the diminished value claim on my 4 month old Acura TSX which was t-boned on the right passenger side. He came highly recommended by the body shop that repaired my car.
