Mr. Atkinson represented me for a rental property management negligence case in which I was trying to recover damages done to my rental unit by a water leak from the unit above mine. The case went to trial with a 6-member jury and several witnesses. In the end, we did not prevail, but I do believe Mr. Atkinson did the best that could be done under the circumstances. He was very prepared, spent much time developing the case, and was energetic and poised in court. I would recommend him and would work with him again if the need arose.

I have just successfully completed a very prolonged and convoluted legal struggle with not just one but two insurance companies serving the Fort Lauderdale area of Florida. My insurance company and a construction company refused to even consider compensating me for very severe damage to my condominium by the latter during an outside rehabilitation of the overall building. The direction of the battle with both changed drastically when, on a recommendation, I contacted Attorney Kristin Demers-Crowell at Christopher Ligori & Associates, Attorneys at Law, in Tampa, FL.
Attorney Demers-Crowell and my relationship started with a long phone conversation during which she patiently and carefully listened to the facts of the case as I saw them. At the end of this phone conversation I felt sure that I was dealing with a serious, very knowledgeable, experienced, empathetic and polished professional. She gave me a list of items she required to allow fuller digestion of the facts and already in my mind’s eye I could see her sleeves being rolled up to do battle on my behalf.
The battle with my insurance company took a couple of years to win. During the maneuverings to limit the insurance company’s liabilities by their legal team at depositions, mediation and in written correspondence I was absolutely amazed by the cool, solid & knowledge based responses and demands by my unruffled attorney. I will at this point just say that we had a very good win. The latter could even be better described as a “win-win” because as part of the settlement with the insurance company she was able to prevail on them to allow us follow their subrogation claim on the builders insurance which resulted in further compensation for my damages.
I am extremely grateful to Attorney Demers-Crowell for standing by me for a prolonged period of time against two behemoths of the insurance industry. Her knowledge, approach and tenacity won the battle. Her thoughtful and reassuring approach kept me calm throughout the ordeal.

On multiple occasions our the insurance company for our home rejected our claims for the damage a sink hole had caused. Thankfully, Kristin Demers-Crowell stepped in and took charge of an incredibly frustrating process that had been strung out almost two decades. Within 4 months of her taking over my wife and I received a settlement check for the damage associated with the sink hole that enabled us to repair the our home. Without her expert guidance and professional help with a top notch geologist there is little question we would never have received a settlement from our insurance company. Suffice it to say Kristin Demers-Crowell was both efficient and incredibly effective and we are delighted to provide an unqualified recommendation.

Several years ago, my house was burglarized. I met with Dana after my son was in a terrible accident. Dana did a fantastic job explaining and educating me on the law worked around this type of accident and how to proceed. Lost a deck due to a huge snowstorm and the snow sliding off of our roof and causing the deck to fall to the ground. Insurance company said the weight of the snow causing the deck to collapse was not covered. I said the collapse was due to impact force - like a tree falling on the deck - but they denied the claim. Then the insurance company said because the deck was wood it was not covered, then the deck was not even a structure so it was not covered. And on and on.
I was referred to Neil Dorfman from a friend who knew someone else that worked with Neil on another claim.
M. Dorfman took over dealing with the insurance company and the communications went on for a year with the insurance company eventually suing ME for a Summary Judgement. Mr. Dorfman counter-sued the insurance company and made it clear they couldn't really sue me as their own client and after a year of this going back and forth the insurance company finally settled for a NEW deck (costing $100,000) and paid all attorneys fees in the process.
During the process, Mr. Dorfman brought in engineering specialists to analyze the deck and the situation, brought in a real estate consultant to determine damages for loss of use of the deck, and brought in contractors to determine costs of fixing and replacing the deck. I believe Mr. Dorfman was very thorough, knowledgeable, and competent. I would use him again.

I met Tony almost 8 years ago when I hired him to do some legal work for me. Through the years I've found him to be a great lawyer, and a good man. That last part is important to me. He is well connected to his family, and to his community. He is not a billboard and late night infomercial huckster, that is for sure. In my industry I've met hundreds of attorneys of all types. Tony was the one I chose to represent me with my own case. Being in the personal injury/insurance industry I had my choice of people to use. I selected Tony not only because of the respect I had for him, but the respect the legal community, the judiciary, and most importantly the insurance industry has for him. He is a straight shooter and will call it as he sees it, even if he disagrees with you. He is not a game player, but is firm his in posture and position on cases. Working with someone in the industry is sometimes more difficult, and he did his best to talk me off the ledge a few times. My case was eventually brought to a great resolution, in no short order because of my attorney. I've not been a "client" of Tony's in two capacities, and I have nothing but good things to say. I've also referred my friends and family to him for criminal cases, real estate transactions, and most recently an case involving a young child. Pass right by the phone book, billboard, and television hucksters and know that your case will be handled in the best way possible, NOT just for a quick buck.

When we encounter the denial of our Long Term Disability claim with Standard Insurance, we were looking for legal representation and were prior denied by 3 Attorneys, all stating that Standard was very hard to deal with and they didn't see a chance that we could win. We kept looking and where referred to Mister DeBofsky. A person can file Social Security on their own but it is a long process and I know I could not have done this on my own. I was in a lot of pain, stressed, anxiety. Attorney Zimberlin is an expert in this area. The legal team sent requests for medical records from doctors, hospitals, therapy etc. I had a lot of forms to fill out and this was stressful enough. They sent everything to Social Security.

I have used Dina for two separate RE transactions both very complicated in nature. The first was a commercial land lease with unique environmental, zoning, and planning restrictions and it also involved a business transaction/ contract between two close friends.
