I was facing charges for my second DUI in four years. Todd gave me great advice along the way and explained things in an understandable way. He had my file heard before a judge at a settlement conference to increase the odds of a favorable outcome- and it worked. All parties had reached an agreement and I left the hearing very relieved. Todd could've dragged out the process and charged me more, but he got things done very quickly. He didn't charge me a dollar more than other attorneys would have, and he has more experience than the other attorneys I was considering. Five out of five.

I reached out to Kelly regarding my wrongful conviction for domestic violence which was preventing me from owning/possessing a fire. If it wasn’t for my love of hunting specifically with my dad I probably would’ve gone on with my life but instead I explained my situation to Kelly, she sounded positive about restoring my rights. Took a few months but the wait paid off. I now have my conceal carry and the joy of being able to purchase weapons. More importantly I get to hunt with my dad without looking over my shoulder. So I had an incident where a situation went to 11 and I pulled a firearm. The local police were trying to throw the book at me ( 2 felony aggravated assault charges and 4 misdemeanor charges) Collectively I was looking at a possible 36 years in prison ( being 41 this would make me 76 when released) upon the advice of the bail bondsman that night I contacted Steve the next day. Steve consulted with me fairly quickly and i immediately hired him knowing I needed all the help I could get. The delay request he filed did make me nervous as it pushed the case 2 months later but it seemed to help. Steve was able to negotiate this down at the preliminary hearing and got the cops to drop the 2 felonies right away. ( despite his best effort they weren’t going to bargain on the 4 misdemeanor charges) Still he got a favorable outcome when the police accepted my ARD request and only gave it 24 months with a fairly minimal fine and no jail time ( everything was negotiable except going to jail). So he got me 24 months probation which was a bit extreme even he thought but he did his job and kept me on the street then he even offered to help me with the expungement process after I finish the probation. Can’t say enough good things about the man cause he genuinely helped me at the worst moment of my life. Sure he’s busy and it might take some efforts to get through to him or his office but believe me they’ll respond and will do whatever they have to to get you through it. The day of my preliminary hearing he was really busy but made every effort to keep me informed and aware of what he was trying to do. Criminal charges are deep deep #2 and you need all the help you can get. Steve helped me and a lot of others here. If you need him he’ll believe you cause he’s probably run into this situation before. It probably didn’t hurt that at 41 and having never been in trouble before I was the ideal client, but still get ahold of Steve cause he’s going to care about you and will keep you where you belong, not in jail

I found David and one of my darkest parts of my life and from the jump he believed me when no one would listen to my side of the story. He worked day and night to make sure we went over every fact we could about my case, on top of everything he kept me in the loop of what was happening in court even when we weren't scheduled to be there. Mr. Masters helped my 14 year old daughter when she got a moving violation driving her golf cart in Viera, FL. Points on her future license would have delayed her getting her driver’s license and it would have increased our insurance considerably. Mr. Masters was able to plea it down to where we paid a small fine and there would be no lasting repercussions. His office staff is friendly and prompt with their replies and Mr. Masters is very professional and knowledgeable of the law. You can tell he is well respected in the courthouse by the judges, court staff and even the prosecuting attorneys. I highly recommend Mr. Masters.

I had recently divorced and my daughter's custody arrangement was not going well. She was back and forth way too much and she wasn't happy. I wanted to go back to court for a better parenting plan but my original attorney was on a leave of absence. I spoke with several attorneys but each one of them told me "it was too soon" to go back to court. Emily took my case and in the mean time, my daughter was falling apart with the current plan. I never thought I'd need a divorce lawyer but when I found myself pregnant going through a divorce I knew I'd need one that would advocate for me and my baby boy. From the minute I met Phil Newman we just clicked. His warm, caring nature together with his no-nonsense, cut-to-the-chase way makes him a bulldog of a lawyer. In the end, the way he fights for what's best for the CHILD is what sets him apart. And he's had to put me in my place a few times, but I've always been better as a result.
Now having been divorced 8+ years and going through several post-divorce rounds of parenting plan changes, I can't recommend Phil and his team highly enough.
Especially Alisha Warner who is my other lawyer and who has walked with me as well through the past 8 years. She is an incredibly hard worker and has gut instincts that recently helped me settle a really hard situation in mediation.
I can't recommend the whole team at Puryear, Newman & Morton highly enough - they are ALL incredible to work with and ultimately fight for what's best for everyone in the long run.

Phil was highly recommended to me by a long-time friend who had recently gone through a divorce and was in a very similar situation to mine. I have two young boys and was the breadwinner in my household, which is very relevant because I had a hard time accepting the role reversal of my situation. I knew within 5 minutes of sitting down with Phil and his paralegal, Julie, that I didn’t need to look any further. Phil is a busy lawyer (which means he’s good lawyer) so he can be hard to pin down at times, BUT he was always there when I needed him – responding to texts and phone calls at night, early morning and over the weekend. He and Julie not only counseled me through the technical aspects of the divorce, but the emotional aspects as well. Phil would empathize with me and validate my feelings, but he also told me what I needed to hear even if it wasn’t what I wanted to hear. Thankfully, we were able to settle my divorce in mediation. Phil took time to explain the mediation process to me and ensure I was well prepped – both materially and emotionally. The mediation was 11 grueling hours . There was one point when we were negotiating alimony – a real sticking point for me – when Phil looked me straight in the eye and said, “Tracy, that’s a good deal. You need to take it.” I didn’t like it but I took it. No questions asked. And, this is representative of how my whole process went. Throughout one of the most difficult periods of my life when I was at my most vulnerable, Phil was my rock and my protector. I felt strong because I had Phil and Julie in my corner. On one hand, I’m grateful my divorce didn’t end up in court, but on the other hand, I would have loved to see him in action in that setting. He’s strong advocate, great listener and fierce negotiator, but best of all…he’s an overall wonderful human. I would recommend Phil over and over again.

I called Dana and hired him to represent a family member in a DUI case. Dana looked at all of the discovery materials and one thing didn’t quite feel right to him. He requested follow up documentation from the DA’s office, who stalled and deferred for close to a year, postponing court dates multiple times. Dana didn’t back off, and the DA finally admitted that he didn’t have the media Dana was requesting.
He negotiated a favorable plea agreement that was far better than what we thought was possible. I’d hire Dana again without hesitation.

I hired William Young & Associates to help with an inattentive driving violation. It was apparent through our conversations that Will knew how to negotiate with the prosecutor to achieve the best outcome. He was willing to fight for what he thought the outcome should be and In my situation was ultimately able to get my charge dismissed. One of the things I liked was that he laid out all of the options for me but gave me the choice of what i wanted to do. He would give me his input and answer any questions. He would tell me how things should go during the hearing so I knew what to expect. Will and his staff were very professional, friendly and courteous. We were beyond pleased with the professional, pro-active, and supportive experience we had with Justin. We hired Justin to help our son with a legal issue in Logan. He is very knowledgeable and experienced, which gave us confidence and piece of mind.
