A friend recommended Mr. Ison Jr. a day and a half before our court date. We contacted his office with less than 24 hours to go, discussed the case and he thought he could help and agreed to be in Lamar County the next morning. He is knowledgeable, helped tremendously by knowing the prosecutor, handled our case very well and sure saved us from a long, hard day on our own. I can't recommend Mr. Tommy Ison Jr. any more highly than that and he is down to earth and friendly on top of all that. HIGHLY satisfied and great job!

Mr. Ison kept me informed every step of the way and that was what I appreciated the most. What started out as a felony ended up as a misdemeanor and that, as I have come to know, makes all the difference in the world. Mr. Ison took the time to explain to me all the different possible outcomes of the case and what the consequences would be. He was extremely knowledgeable and seemed to work well with the prosecutor. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who finds themselves stuck in a hard place.

I have never particularly been in any substantial trouble with the law, but last year my life nearly turned upside down when I was faced with a false sexual battery accusation that would have left me, an innocent law abiding man, with over a decade on the sex offender registry had it not been for the exemplary support of Jerry Merril. Jerry is a diligent, compassionate, and committed lawyer. I got into some trouble for the first time in my life (I am in my 5th decade) and he understood that the only fair outcome for my case was complete and utter eradication of the charges. He didn't promise that but said in certain cases that could be achieved. I had interviewed another attorney prior to meeting Jerry who I am sure would have been competent, but I don't believe would have gone the extra mile that Jerry went to acheive my goal of expungement. Not only did he achieve that goal but he kept me informed every step of the way so as to reduce my anxiety. He thinks outside the box so that in working the complex and frightening criminal justice system, I was not left to become a statistic but an innocent vindicated citizen. When I appeared before the court, I had 4 outstanding traffic tickets that varied in severity. I was very nervous due to the severity of 1 of the charges , after consultation I retained Mr. Balduf . He was very direct and he laid out a clear directive for me to follow . I provided him any information that he requested in relation to DMV documents etc... In a very short period of time, Mr. Balduf was able to have all but 1 ticket dismissed , that of which was reduced to a traffic violation and a small fine .I couldn't have imagined a better outcome for myself. If I ever need an attorney again , I will call him first.

We have had multiple traffic matters that needed to be addressed. We faced the likelihood of high insurance premiums, going to court and possible suspension of a license. William Balduf took care of our traffic matters for a reasonable rate (we had called around). We did not have to go to Court and our insurance was not affected. I highly recommend him for your DWI and traffic concerns.

My son's arrest devastated our family. I was referred to Doug through my divorce attorney for a criminal defense. From the very first consult, Doug understood my situation and was able to work with the DA to correct the charges against me and come up with an acceptable agreement. Doug left no stone unturned; he dug into every detail and quickly found what he needed to reduce the charge and develop a deal. Dougs the man!! hired doug for the first time about ten years ago when i young and stupid and got myself into some messes, Mr cody handled it and im still very pleased with the out come to this day. I hired Kelley for a felony theft case. My case effected my job, and I needed it cleared up quickly in order to return to work. Within 30 days of my first court date, Kelley had my case reduced to a misdemeanor deferred, so that I could return to work. Kelley worked diligently with the prosecutor and myself to get the matter resolved quickly. She has a great rapport with the DAs, and she kept me informed every step of the way. The day I hired her, I felt such relief because she has a true passion for helping her clients. Even after my case was closed, she still contacted me to make sure I understood all the requirements of my deferred adjudication and to help with anything else I may need. I would highly recommend Kelley for anyone who wants a lawyer that truly cares about the well being of their clients, extremely knowledgable about the court system and criminal laws, and has a great rapport with the DAs.

I had a felony theft case, and it effected my job. I needed the case dropped quickly in order to return to work and keep my position. I knew the minute I spoke to Kelley on the phone that I was in good hands. She attentively listened, asked questions, and showed empathy for my situation and genuine concern for my well being. Two days later we went to court for the first time and within one month my case was dropped to a misdemeanor deferred, so that I could return to work. Throughout the entire case Kelley communicated with the prosecutor and myself almost daily to get the situation resolved and keep my job in tact. Kelley helped me with a theft case that was ridiculous anyway. Not only did she explain everything that was going on, what could happen, she also made me feel instantly upon our first meeting that everything was going to be fine. I had been so stressed about this issue and when I met with her she made me feel relieved. She is extremely knowledgeable of the criminal court system, responded immediately to any questions I had, and she researched the case to the tiniest detail. I was amazed at how skilled she was and my case has been dismissed completely. She told me in the beginning that was what she was going for but that there were other possibilities. I always knew what was going on and what she was going to do each time we went to court. If you want a skilled attorney who will keep you well informed and also make you feel like you are her only client (even though you know you are not her only client) then I recommend you giving Kelley a call immediately.

Sylvia Escobedo was hired on my case for an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge. She kept me informed on everything that was going on with my case. Prosecutors came to her with pleas but the pleas wasn't options for us to take. She did her job as a great lawyer for 5 months and some days. Those 5months were long and stressful and Attorney Escobedo presented my case to a Grand Jury and my case was "NO BILLED" .SO MUCH STRESS LIFTED OFF MY SHOULDERS!!! I want to tell everyone how awesome Raquel Abel is. I was going to lose my daughter but Raquel came in and helped me gain full custody of my daughter. Not only she helped me gain full custody she also helped me keep my parents away from my daughter. She also was there for me through everything my mom's verbal abuse and my dad's Conservatorship that he had on me and she helped me get rid of the conservatorship. I split up with my husband and had no income coming in. I applied for foodstamps and was working odd jobs. I reconciled with my husband a year later and got off aid. I never received a letter that the food stamp office wanted money back. 2 years later I was pulled over for a routine traffic stop and thrown in jail for days. i was terrified. Never having been in trouble I called a friend who had had similar problems on a warrant they knew nothing about. Joe Flores was on the job in one hour. We had bail and after 3 weeks of hard negotiations resolved the matter before trial. Restitution was made and I do not have a felony on my record which is what I was facing with prison time. If you need a lawyer who knows what is doing and that has a great reputation and is a powerful force on your side you need to call Joe. He will pick up the phone and text you back day or night. He has a legal staff led by Ms. Palacios who are superb and very caring. I hear so many bad things about lawyers on TV and the radio and in newspapers, but Joe Flores is not only an awesome lawyer, but he also is very very caring. I would recommend no one else in Corpus Christi. He is the best of the best. God bless he and his family always.

I was in the wrong place at the wrong time due to a friend's bad choice. We were taken in but my side of the story was not being heard. Joe took this case on and was in constant contact with my family to let them know that I was ok and keep them calm. He took the time to hear my side and assured me that I had a case to prove my innocence in this matter. My experience, as the majority of the reviews I have read and would agree with, are nothing but spectacular thoughts and feelings regarding Mr. Kloosterman.
I want everyone to know that my personal experience with Mr. Kloosterman on two legal cases we faced with Mr. Kloosterman, in my opinion, and many others who I know, that know him, is that he is one of the best attorneys not only in East Tennessee but possibly the whole state of Tennessee.
Mr. Kloosterman has honor and integrity; I have witnessed this in and out of the courtroom and in trial. He fights for his clients, but at the same time, he also knows what is right not only as an officer of the court but also as a man of God. Everyone I have ever spoken to regarding Mr. Kloosterman, including other lawyers, judges, and state representatives, all have said nothing but the highest regard and respect for Mr. Kloosterman. He is very diligent and respectful to all. In our cases, he was very thorough, doing legal research citing the law to opposing counsel and the judges. He advised us of our options and potential outcomes in both cases and allowed us to make very informed decisions regarding our cases as we moved forward.
I have and will always continue to highly recommend Mr. Kloosterman as he genuinely cares for his clients, is an excellent lawyer, and, more importantly, a fantastic man. He has always made himself available to us after hours and even weekends! Mr. Kloosterman has taken calls from me well after midnight in emergencies and talked to me after hours for extended periods of time. Kloosterman helped me to have visitation with my only son while a scumbag named Todd tried to delay it for two years so I couldn't even see him ever, Dylan is very happy and doing well despite Todd. Dylans whole life has turned around for the better, me and his mother are getting along and would like to pursue damages against Todd and his little law firm. I'm hoping that Stephen Todd will be disbarred and dismissed for unethical behavior as I had to blackmail him into showing up to mediation because I had photo and video evidence that he was intentionally delaying meditations for over 4 months. Todd not only disrespected the courts but he also violated his oath, please someone report him and have him removed as an attorney.

Suzanne and her team were wonderful. If you need an attorney you need to contact her. The response to my questions or concerns were always quick. Since I've never gone through something like this before it's exactly what I needed. I didn't want to sit and wait for answers. There was so much to deal with Suzanne and her team were on top of everything. She would let me know if she was going to be out of town but that didn't slow down her replying to my emails. Just outstanding service and respect from the entire staff. She was also a calming influence when the other attorney was slow to move things forward. She could tell I was getting anxious. Suzanne explained what was going on and politely reached out to the other attorney to move the process forward. I always felt like they cared about me and wanted to make this a less stressful process and they did.

Suzanne and her firm quickly become like family. They do their best to keep fees down (she's not a magician, and it can be expensive, but that depends on how the opposing team acts and how much work you're willing to do on your own, how organized you are-and how well you LISTEN). She'll be upfront and honest about what can happen, even if it's not what you want to hear. She won't promise something if she's not certain she can deliver. She and her firm are some of the few attorneys in the Memphis area who understand what to expect and what to do in a domestic violence situation.
My case was both contentious and complicated (involving 2 states), but she took charge after being hired mid-case and worked at warp speed (as far as courts are concerned). I never once set foot in a court room until the final hearing where my divorce was granted. I still consult with her and her associate as things come up, as I still have a little guy to protect.
Landers Firm is the ONLY family law firm in Memphis that I would personally recommend. My only regret was that I didn't find her until after I had already filed.

Teana Watson handled my sons juvenile case, which was originally two felonies and two misdemeanors. When my sons court date came it was dropped down to only two misdemeanors. This was an amazing outcome because my son is very active in sports and school and he made a bad decision. Teana asked the judge for deferred adjudication and the judge was very hesitant because of the charges. Ms. Watson got exactly what we wanted deferred adjudication, so that he can learn from this mistake and move on in a positive direction. We can't thank her enough for the outcome of this case.

Penny Henderson was a joy to work with. In our initial phone conversation she was encouraging and very supportive of our journey of adopting through foster care. I used Penny Henderson to handle my collaborative divorce. She was great. I interviewed several attorneys in town who specialize in collaborative divorce, and chose her because of her experience and expertise. She had worked in the legal field for years before becoming and attorney. I was so impressed that she had challenged and passed the bar exam, without going to law school. No easy feat for anyone, much less someone who worked full time. I was also drawn to her calm manner. She was perfect in a collaborative legal setting.
She was at all times professional with me and with the other parties involved. She explained up front what to expect and she spent time asking questions and making sure she understood all my issues. Her explanations of the legal issues were very clear. When I had questions or concerns, she would return calls promptly and always spent time making sure I understood. Her billing was fair and accurate, and about half of what my spouse paid for the same legal representation.
