Glenn was able to secure a substantial settlement from a health insurance company based on a contract dispute. The case settled before commencing arbitration resulting in significant savings in time and legal expenses. I believe the ability to communicate to opposing counsel his understanding of the facts in preparation for the case was a major reason for the expeditious settlement.

In late 2007 I was with a stockbroker from New York. At first everything seemed ok and then everything went bad very quickly. The agent was making unauthorized trades over $1,150,000 on margin when my account had about $ 240,000 in equity. I really did not understand what was happening. When I contacted Richard Stephens, He was very Professional and reassuring. Mr. Stephens. then reviewed the files, did his own investigation and found that the brokerage firm was using an unregistered securities firm, further that the brokers were involved in fraudulent activities and conduct. Mr. Stephens decided a course of action and filed a complaint with FINRA. During the FINRA hearings the brokerage firm was always late, witnesses not available and many other reasons to delay. Mr. Stephens was very aggressive in stopping these actions and bringing out what really happened. Mr. Stephens expertise and presentation to the FINRA hearing officers resulted in a positive outcome for me. From the start to the finish Mr. Stephens was always available and kept me updated at all times on what was happening. .I firmly believe that Mr. Stephens is a honest and fair man. As an Attorney it is my opinion that there is no finer or more capable than Richard Stephens. If I ever need another attorney, I will definitely contact Mr. Stephens. I recommend without any reservation Richard Stephens to any person who needs an attorney or legal guidance. I worked with Eric many times in the past and have found him to be acutely familiar with construction issues which is of paramount importance when litigating construction disputes. This is especially important when cross examining experts and fact witnesses. Other attorneys do not know when witnesses are being less than candid; but Eric does. Further, he prepares his witnesses so well that any attacks by the other side are easily handled with ease. I worked with Eric on a couple of construction claim disputes and quickly learned that he is one of the better attorneys in the construction litigation community. He gets knee deep in the details and understands the fine distinction points that are necessary to win the dispute. It's a hard pill to swallow when you come to a point where you must debate on whether you should file for bankruptcy or not. After weighing all possible options, I decided to file and was referred to Robert Fox. It had started as an initial phone call with quick questions regarding your income, your debt and your expenses. This is what they call the Means test. After answering all the questions, I was told I was a "good" candidate to file. We then proceeded to schedule a future date to talk again going into further details about my debt and expenses. What was really nice for me was i asked if we should talk over the phone or meet in person. Robert said it was my preference and really didn't mind if I chose either way. He understood that people were busy and couldn't always make time to travel to his office. However, he did suggest that meeting in person would be more personable. That right away made me feel a bit more relieved during the process. It gave me a sense of security in knowing he wanted to do his job and do it right. And if it meant putting a face to a file, then i was all for it.
On my office visit, I was greeted by Iris at the front desk. (Please pay attention to her. She is another instrumental person in the process). Very pleasant and nice lady. After meeting with Robert and getting all the things done during our discussion, Iris gave me papers to look over and sign and gave me my list of things to do over the next couple of days. She also told me she would be in contact with me from time to time til my hearing. And in the days leading up to my hearing, she always gave me detailed instructions on everything and anything. Don't worry, Robert was always available for me whenever I had any questions.
Now one thing before I end my review. You, as the client, must do everything asked of you by Robert and Iris if you want the whole process to go smoothly and without a hitch. If you do your part, and do it right, they can do theirs correctly.
Robert and Iris, thank you for everything. A huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Thank you again.

I am honored to express my gratitude, appreciation, and experience with Mr. David Cohen and his team. About a year or 2 ago, a family friend of mine went through a very difficult period. We were fortunate enough to be referred to Mr. Cohen and have him represent my friend during a helpless time.
As a graduating law student, I want to share my experience with Mr. Cohen as I sat along side my family friend throughout the proceedings. I could not have gained a better insight into the real life practice of a criminal defense attorney. I don’t think I could ever put into words the kindness, sympathy, intellect and professionalism that these attorneys showed to myself and my family. Cory Forman and David Cohen were literally life-savers. To give a brief background, my mother was stuck in Europe after she mistakenly traveled on an expired permanent resident card. I thought that she would be stuck for months alone in the midst of a broken immigration system, with delay after delay to her documents. Cory and David somehow knew exactly how to solve this situation and immediately made all the calls necessary, spoke to the right people, filed the right things and pulled off nothing short of a miracle. My mom was back home safe and sound on American soil within days. She was treated with the care and attention by this entire firm as if it were their own mother stuck in some foreign country. Safe to say, there is no where else I will go for all immigration concerns from here on out. 5 stars is not nearly enough for the great job these guys did. I'm shocked to read **any** negative reviews about Scott Miller. He has been my attorney for over 10 years. I first hired him to help me with a real estate rental matter with a rental property I leased. Although it was small claims, he helped me prepare and win my case and I got all my deposit back and successfully fought off the landlord attorney. Immediately following that I bought a home that had major mold problems and was very complicated. Scott was fully prepared and helped me throughout the entire two year ordeal. Thanks to Scott, that matter was ultimately successfully settled with the prior owners. My last big case was in another state. Arbitrator Marr just completed an grievance arbitration here in Oregon State. I would not hesitate to recommend him to arbitrate any legal matter. He is exceptionally intelligent, articulate, and runs an arbitration hearing like l learned judge. In my opinion, he reflects arbitral independence, integrity, and impartiality. As a professional engineer in private practice, educator, consultant, and subject matter expert in safety and risk management since 1972, I’ve had an opportunity to provide technical assistance and expert opinions to more than 1,200 lawyers, ranging from sole-practitioners to major national law firms. I only mention this because I believe that few clients know what qualities (beside fees) are truly important when selecting an attorney.
I have almost four decades experience working with attorneys. Personally, I rely on my lifetime learning experience gained while providing administrative law and expert witnessing services when offering my opinions to others looking for an attorney (and on that rare occasion when I need to lawyer). Very few attorneys listen and understand. Mr. Gonter is one of them. He will listen to you as a person, then make a knowledgeable decision on how to proceed in your best interests, explaining the process along the way. Mr. Gonter did an excellent job representing our corporation and was understanding of our concerns.
Most importantly, he's well respected by fellow attorneys and judges. His stellar reputation and intelligent approach leads to favorable results.
I used to be impressed by descriptions like "aggressive" and theatrical attorneys whose shot gun style ends up more noise than result. But after seeing Mr. Gonter in action, I was convinced his professional and respectful approach separates him from the cookie cutter attorneys in our area.
