After a year dealing with life insurance company declining payout and pushing it back on employer and employer wanting to just pay back what was paid in on life policy was unacceptable. State Department of Finance stated out of their jurisdiction even thou policy was written in the state and apparently prior lawyer did nothing and in the end said didn’t believe there was a chance. Then I found Boonswang Law Firm and had full payout within a month! Yes, within a month! I am so grateful. Dealing with this firm was expedient and flawless. Wish I found them sooner.
Grief and grieving is hard and shame on these insurance companies for making it difficult on top of that when our loved ones have passed.

Brent Brehm is not just an excellent attorney but a fine human being. I have been a fortunate beneficiary of his brilliance, comprehensiveness and candor, all of which he glued together with his integrity and compassion.
I reached out to him for guidance having to do with a fluid employment situation and an even more fluid health situation. Brent patiently and thoroughly explained to me and my spouse the options available to us, the attendant risks and possible unknowns. Having those facts and variables spelled out clearly replaced our anxiety with clarity. He did not over-promise or pressure us one way or another, and instead set into context some complex legalese.
His ability to glean highly consequential details and spell out the possible impact is one of his finest qualities. He identified a few points where my decision could have had suboptimal outcomes, and that intervention has directly affected my finances. Today, I feel relief rather than regret because of his insights.
Another quality of Brent Brehm that I admire is his candor. During one exchange, I remember asking him if I should have made a different choice 6 months ago. CFS is not an easy illness to prove, and I had done my own very detailed initial appeals, which doubtless made it more challenging for Mr. Brehm. Nonetheless, he did a masterful job of representing me. Mr. Brehm was professional and personable as well. When you’re dealing with a former employer’s disability insurance carrier who had no problem approving both your STD and LTD claims - then immediately deny them because you just exhausted your state disability benefits and the burden of paying you is now on the insurance carrier - you know you’re dealing with a major crook and need the right legal counsel to fight for you. After doing my due diligence on several law firms, I retained Kantor & Kantor and boy, was I right in choosing them. I was assigned to two other lawyers and eventually, Brent Brehm. Everyone was patient and made sure all the right things happened. Two years later, my mediation ended up in a favorable settlement, thanks largely to impressive Brent. I was always nervous to ever be around legal disputes. So at the age of 40 I finally needed legal services. I found Mr. Robinson and he made it very easy. He kept me out of harms way and kept it painless. I never knew the law, I never needed to, but he made me aware of my rights and how I was wronged. The other party involved was very savoy and had been through this a million times. Mr. Robinson told me just what they were doing and how they would try to scare people. It was a great day To watch them settle because we were right and everything they had told me were scare tactics. I feel like I have rights now. Mr. Robinson really looked out for me and assured me through the whole ordeal why things happen the way they do and what not. He never made me feel like I should be nervous about the whole thing. We have never had an attorney but, if, in the future, we ever needed one, for what ever reason, Mr. L. Lamar Armstrong is now my over whelming choice. If you are looking for someone that you could call a ”Perry Mason”, Mr. Armstrong is your man. In my opinion, Mr. Armstrong is knowledgeable, a great listener with a great personality making one very comfortable and able to discuss issues easily and without feeling intimidated. My situation resulted from a local Large Home Center reneging on a legal contract. 45 days after the contract was signed and due to be completed in 15 days, the local Large Home Center called me and informed me that they were raising the price of my roofing job by an outrageous 250%. I was told that this was not negotiable. They said “They had a way out!” and hung up on me. Since this seemed to be a deliberate contract violation by the local Large Home Center, it was obvious that I needed a good attorney. I did a lot of research and selected L. Lamar Armstrong. I documented all the details of the transaction and presented them with the signed contract to Mr. Armstrong. At our first meeting, he informed us that our contract was valid and binding and the Large Home Center had no outs or legal recourse but to honor the contract as is (not a good option for me since I did not trust them) or have my roof installed by a different roofer. I could then file a Small Claims suit to recover the difference between our original legal and binding contract and whatever my new roofer would charge. He told us that, at this point, we would not need additional services from him, but he was available to give us follow-up advice at no additional charge. Based on his superb advice, suggestions, proposed action plans, and resulting responses from local Large Home Center, we obtained the evidence of the contract violation enabling us to easily win our case in Small Claims court.
