HIRE with CONFIDENCE, you are in good hands! My wife and I have used Ben Glass Law twice in the past couple of years. We could not be more thrilled with the outcomes and interaction we had by using this law firm. We both had the unfortunate luck of being in accidents that totaled both of our vehicles in a two-year period. We were fortunate enough to have Melissa Ryan (associate attorney), and Autumn Haag (personal injury paralegal) handle both of our cases. During the process not only were we seen, but we were heard about any problems we had with dealing with treatment for our injuries and any questions we had while going through the process. This was not a quick process which is to be expected but they were with us every step of the way. Melissa would hold conference calls about every two months to update us on any progress made or no progress if that was the case. Autumn handled the huge workload of paperwork we had to submit from the accidents and medical appointments to anything else she asked for or we asked for ourselves. They were timely in all their responses, and they always made sure to answer all our questions and that we understood what was going on and where we were during the process. Several years ago I suffered an unfortunate accident while traversing the streets of NYC. The incident resulted in severe injuries that landed me in a hospital emergency room in excruciating pain and in a cast for several months thereafter, and a plethora of doctors appointments and follow up visits. The accident definitely limited my ability in getting around and had life long effects that I will now have to bare as a result of the negligence imposed by third parties. Joel Zelkowitz is very dedicated to helping out. On 3 separate occasions he reviewed different concerns I had and got back to me with honest feedback without charging me a dime.

My children’s father had a life insurance policy through Securion (rip off artists, avoid at all costs). He had cancer and was dying, but kept up his payments. It wasn’t much, but he wanted to leave the kids something. His last payment was returned to him as having been sent to the wrong address though it was sent in the pre-addressed envelope the company provided.
When he passed away, the company denied the claim because he’d missed payments. I called Ms. Lee. I didn’t have a lot of hope because it was a very small policy and I didn’t think any attorney would work that case for so little compensation. But it was his dying wish, he’d made his payments faithfully until the company began returning them and even if the money was eaten up in court fees I didn’t want those scam artists to keep it.
Ms. Lee took the case, fought for nine months and eventually won. She was paid a little over $3,000 for that time. That comes out to less than minimum wage. She took our case out of kindness and a desire not to allow these rinky dink companies to take advantage of a terminally ill man. She was always available to us, answered all our questions and treated us with compassion and sensitivity throughout. I cannot recommend this lawyer highly enough.

We hired him to represent my wife against an LTD claim denial. He convinced the insurance company to reverse its decision to deny my wife's claim. His detailed and factual presentation set a tone of integrity that couldn't be overlooked. We won justice and peace of mind. This was also a victory for healthcare over health insurance companies.

Amar & I have worked together for about 11 months or so. You must give him time to come out of his attorney skin & allow him to show himself, he is a very carrying, passionate individual & works his butt off for you. He may not lead you to think he does, but as time goes on, you will figure out on your own that he is all over your case & is very knowledgeable & knows the law like he knows the back of his hand. He listens to your needs and what your interests are for the best outcome in your case, unless it is completely unrealistic, then he will tell you. You will receive documents that look like they came from another worlds language with legal jargon but he will take the time to explain them to you so you are completely "in the know" as to what is happening with your case. Our case settled with our best interest, so we didn't actually win, but it felt like the BEST WIN EVER!! If I needed someone to go to war with, it would be Amar Rival, my attorney. I have retained him for the next 5 yrs

Initially great experience working with Lydia to draft custody doc quickly. But it’s worth noting that she does not have experience with domestic violence or cross jurisdictional custody. Really key items were left out of the custody document which I didn’t realize until almost two years later. When I reached out to her about it, she didn’t respond. There was no way for me to know these items needed to be included— that was her job. This is the type of mistake that means my child will grow up without knowing my family. It’s pretty serious and will cost me a lot of money to fix. If you’re looking for someone with experience protecting you and your family from a high conflict ex, I would recommend paying for a more experienced attorney who will go to bat for you.
