I wanted to thank the staff at Evan Law for helping me complete my FSBO real estate transaction. I called Evans Law just to inquire if the FSBO was feasible, and an attorney spent about 30 minutes with me answering my questions, and at the end, said if you pursue the process please let us know how we can help. All of that assistance was sincerely provided with no expectations to commit to their office...it was just honest, helpful advice. That is so rare these days. Based on that experience, I did engage Evans Law to help draft up the sales contract and all the other required documents to complete a sale in Maryland. The staff was extremely responsive and helpful and engaging and we worked through the process pretty fast. The completed sale packet went through the transaction process the first time with no issues. It was all perfectly done. And then, folks at Evans Law followed up to ensure that there weren't any issues. In this world of pressure to commit, and upselling and feeling like you're not getting money's worth, Evans Law was really refreshing - providing excellent customer service, solid products and excellent value for money. I hired Evans Law to prepare a land purchase contract. It was my 1st land purchase so I wanted to make sure the contract was comprehensive, protecting me against all risks. Gary at Evans Law wrote a contract that included many items I wasn’t thinking about...items that would have left me vulnerable if not included in the contract. After creating and helping me get the contract signed by the seller, he also provided me with resources to conduct the due diligence on the land before the purchase and contacts to help me begin the building process after we closed. I would highly recommend Evans Law. It was money well spent. Evans Law wrote an airtight contract and helped me have a smooth purchasing process.

Outstanding team! Matt, Gary, Sophia and Caterina are a dedicated and experienced team providing an exceptional service and value. It was a true pleasure working with them and having their counsel throughout the process. They were all very responsive, proactive and quick to act when time was a critical factor. Not having gone through the process before, their expectation setting and approval requests at every stage were welcome and mitigated surprises. Will definitely look to them again for future services.

I never write reviews but I felt like I needed to in this case. I had really high hopes from this place after reading the reviews and thought they would be able to help me with an HOA matter that has been on going for a year in a half. It was really important to get this matter fix since it later turned into a health concern for my family. From the beginning we told them that we did not want to spend thousands of dollars and they said they understood but 4 months later and $4,000 later I am still in the same place before I hired them. Sent 2 letters to the opposing counsel and still had unanswered question addressing the concerns and issues I had. It was just going in circles with no progression. Spent all this money and we have not even went to court yet. Wrote them that I will no longer need there services and never heard anything back . They got all the money they could get out of me which is sad since I really needed their help and it was just poor legal advice. I guess they are good for doing contracts but not good when they needed for an actual court case. I will say they are responsive but that because they are charging you for it. It is very unfortunate situation.

Gary Damico and the entire Evans law firm was absolutely wonderful to work with. I was selling my home and Gary handled all the details and was excellent with communication and quick responses. The closing went beautifully. I would highly recommend hiring this firm for any real estate needs.

I called Evans Law to share my concerns on a possible case. They exceeded my expectations from my initial consultation, to our final consultation. I have never experienced speaking to a law firm in which they were humble, caring, and willing to go above and beyond to assure that I had clarity in all of my possible options. While my wife and I decided it was not in our best interest to move forward at this “time”. I would have had no concerns in paying the legal fees associated with retaining this professional team.

I was referred to Kathleen by a friend. I liked that she was not part of a larger firm and all correspondence went directly to her. From the start she laid out what was necessary to proceed with a separation/divorce. When I followed her advice things moved along, when I thought I knew better...well I didn't. Listen to her!
