Words cannot express my sincere thanks to Gary for protecting my freedom. I worked for an organization owned by Johns Hopkins. For six years, I served my employer with so much loyalty. Despite being 100% devoted, I experienced the misfortune of being part of a series of rudimentary layoffs. I wasn't just laid off; I was accused and charged with theft and theft scheme, each carrying a prison sentence of up to fifteen years. My family was placed under hardship as I was placed on an endless administrative leave without pay for closed to a year, pending investigation of the alleged theft from my employer. Confident that the investigation wouldn't lead to any results that would implicate me as I had done nothing wrong but wholeheartedly served my employer, I was mistaken. Police raided my house and found nothing. They still decided to charge me. Confused about the whole thing and saddened by the inability to take care of my two sons and wife, my family joined me in prayers for God to send us a lawyer that will represent me properly and take me out of this mess. God responded and sent Gary Hale Gerstenfield. Gary took the case personally and seriously. Feeling my pain, he made it a duty to always distract me from thinking of and being worried about the whole situation. Each time we met either over the phone or in his office, he was very humorous, making me to laugh away my troubles. Gary consoled me and answered my calls even while he was at the courthouse representing his other clients. Though confident after reading so many reviews by his past clients, I almost gave up hope as my court date drew nearer and all Gary did was call me up to tell me not to worry and that he will be in court with me. I was expecting him to schedule appointments with me and discuss and prep me. No, he had his strategy in place. On the court date, Gary still had not met with me. He didn't even tell me what he was to do. When my case was called up, I was worried about the team of witnesses the employer had sent with the State's attorney. On my side, it was just Gary and me. I was intimidated. Guess what...Gary turned things around and made the State's Attorney and his fleet of witnesses a laughingstock as he turned their conflicting and uncoordinated stories against them, making them appear foolish, desperate nervous and dumbfounded. I never took the stand; I never said a single word in court. Gary was strategic with his objections as he vigorously punctured each and every point they made. Gary was vigorous and super aggressive at the State’s Attorney, his lame story and the witnesses. He stood his grounds as he relentlessly went after the police officers who charged me. Thanks to Gary’s vigorous defense, I was found not guilty and the Judge made it clear that the state had no case against me. Folks, if you need a lawyer who will stand for you, please call Gary. If you want the best defense, do not think twice - call Gary. Thank you Gary and God bless you as you continue to represent and help out many people like myself.

I was charged with a high BAC, first-time DUI in Baltimore City. I decided to meet with Gary after reading some positive reviews here on Google+ and a few other sites. He's a very friendly guy. He and Rebecca pointed me toward a couple of treatment programs to complete before trial. Due to a state postponement and some unfavorable judge situations, we made four different courtroom appearances, but Gary and Rebecca remained very professional and results-oriented through all of it. They never pressured me in to accepting an unfavorable plea. They wanted to get me the best possible ruling. In the end, I received probation before judgement. This is the result we discussed when I first visited the office, and this is the result they delivered.

I cannot say enough about Gary's services.. I picked up an embarrassing solicitation charge last year and opted to use a cheap lawyer service with the understanding it was my first time offense that I would have no problem getting past the charge. Unfortunately this was not the case.. I pleaded guilty and received no probation or community service all of a sudden I had a criminal charge misdemeanor charge and therefore would have a permanent criminal record!! I simply did not understand the ramifications until after my case was over.. the fact that I hold security clearance means that having this charge could permanently damage my career!! Thank God I did some more investigating to see what my legal options were after the case. After reviewing lawyers and ratings I came across Gary's office.. reviewed the track record and I was impressed with the reviews and case outcomes. I decided to give him a call to discuss my case.. thank goodness I gave him a call because I was just inside my window to file an appeal.. He took on the case and kept me updated on the progress.. after the first hearing, the county decided to change legal processes for solicitation cases that made it much more difficult to have even first time offender charges dropped.. He informed me of the development and possible outcomes but at the same time put together a strategy by requesting additional information from me about being a cleared professional to argue the severity of this charge on my career!! Gary used all the resources at his disposal to include the other law firm lawyer, Rebecca Cosca to fight to get my charges dropped. She was very instrumental in working to get my case resolved. When all was said and done.. I will receive community service and the charges will be dropped and eventually expunged. I cannot say enough about what Gary and Rebecca have done for me. This has been a tremendously stressful experience for me but in the end he used every available resource at his disposal to get me taken care of. The money I spent with him was very well spent.. I almost forgot to say he even adjusted what he would normally charge me based on the money I wasted with the first lawyer I had on the case..Most lawyers will take your money and run with a case..he didnt have to do that but it shows the character of Gary!! The bottomline is I received top notch expert representation from a person that was empathetic about my situation but yet aggressive in seeing things thru for me from start to finish. Lesson learned.. you get what you pay for!! Im so glad I have selected Gary and his team to include Rebecca Cosca.. either one of them are investments well worth it to see your case through.. I highly recommend Gary or Rebecca to see anyone through legal situations!!

Matthew Bennett is an excellent attorney. I originally met him when he was the opposing counsel in a matter in which I was involved and I was very impressed and told him if I ever was in need of an attorney I would contact him for his services, because he obtained a very good outcome for someone by catching a minor technicality that could have easily been overlooked. Just recently, my son was involved in an accident that required legal counsel for navigating through some issues that could have seriously impacted his driving record. I immediately contacted Mr. Bennett and I was not disappointed. He was thorough and provided wonderful service and counsel. He made things very easy, communicating with me and my son via phone and email, alleviating the need to take time off from work to consult with him. I came across Mr. Gary H. Gerstenfield when i found myself with a DUI Charge. I had spoken to a lot of lawyers, but ended up having Mr. Gerstenfield take care of my case. He was an outstanding defense lawyer. He fought for my rights and made sure that I had nothing to be stressed out about. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and tactful. I was charged with driving without a license on a military base. We were worried about the severity of the charges. Gary showed a great interest in my case.
