After years of emotional abuse against myself and our children, I finally told my ex that I wanted a divorce. However, it was simply brutal trying to work through the process with them and expect any cordial, adult behavior on their behalf. They were doing everything in their power to make things as difficult and painful as possible for everyone involved (alienating our kids from me, burning through our savings, filing false police reports against me, etc.). I looked for legal representation to assist me with the divorce and after interviewing several attorneys, I felt most comfortable with Braden Finch and the Daniel Findling Law Firm. I can't truly describe how much of a blessing my attorney, and the entire Daniel Findling Law Firm Team, have been in getting me and my children through this divorce process, with a bright future ahead of us. Braden is a genuinely good guy who was looking out for my family's best interests. He actively worked with me and my budget to ensure that we were allocating our resources in only the most effective ways. He was not wasting time, mincing words, or playing around when it came to my case. He was honest and direct with me and saved me thousands of dollars in potential legal fees by avoiding the unnecessary legal battles that I would've pursued (if I didn't have his sound, ethical counsel). My ex still tried to make the divorce process as difficult and drawn out as possible, and in the jurisdiction that I filed, I had an uphill battle as the husband/father. But I always felt that Braden was completely prepared and confident when representing me at court, which greatly reduced my stress during this process. And when it came to the court hearings, Braden was a straight-up Rockstar assassin in systematically dismantling all the bogus accusations and motions that we're being levied against me by my ex. My divorce has been finalized. I have custody of my children and the court sees me as the favorable parent. I have a path forward financially that is manageable. I genuinely don't believe that I would be in such a good place right now without the legal representation of Braden Finch and the Daniel Findling Law Firm. I'd give more stars on this review but it only goes up to five.

Despite charging me higher retainer Attorney Theresa did not perform the work properly, often failed to respond to calls, made errors with important dates, sent documents to the opposing party without my knowledge, and never provided a breakdown of charges. In contrast, Daniel and his team were thorough, responsive, and dedicated. They empowered me throughout my case and ultimately achieved the justice I deserved. I had an unsatisfactory experience with Findling Law Firm. What was initially presented as a straightforward divorce case was plagued by frequent document errors, lack of communication. There were long periods with no updates, a missed court date due to preparation issues, and double billing for internal consultations among the attorneys. Ultimately, a case quoted as taking around six months and costing approximately $3,000 extended over a year, and I was billed an additional $943 on top of my $5,000 deposit. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this firm.

My case was completely sabotaged when I trusted the Findling law firm. On 3/8/24 I was to meet with Christien to discuss options to appeal. Braden invited himself into the meeting and eventually took over as Christien rarely replied to my emails. On 3/26/24 Braden contacted me at work and informed me that I needed to sign a document without explaining what it was. This was a day before the 21 day window would close for objections. Braden scheduled and attended hearings without me being present. I told him I was uncomfortable with him attending without me and he did it anyway. He asked the judge in an email if he could attend on my behalf even though I requested for him not to. They say the initial consultation is free and then add it to your bill to use up the retainer. I never agreed to the judgment they created and I could not sign due to unresolved custody issues. Braden informed that the judge would enforce the judgment regardless. There were 3 appeal options that weren’t presented until after it was too late. They say you need a final judgement before appealing but that couldn’t be true if there’s an “interlocutory appeal” and an “appeal by right”. Those options were presented 4/5/24; coincidently after my case was concluded. I wrote an email detailing my dissatisfaction and was told I could meet with Daniel at no charge to discuss my concerns yet they added an $800 dollar charge to my final bill. I paid $2500 and the firm is saying I owe an additional $2,200 for a judgement that was worse than the original one I came in with. They inquired about my income and used it to determine what they’d charge me because the services provided were not worth half of what I paid. A grievance will be filed. Braden underhandedly forced me into an arrangement without any regard to my family’s wellbeing. I will never trust any lawyer after this disgusting experience.

Darren returned my call quickly and was extremely friendly and helpful in explaining what I needed. He was also able to save me a lot of time and money. I would definitely recommend his legal services!

Any legal matter can be scary, time consuming and most of all frustrating, but Daniel Findling and his support staff are extremely personable, knowledgeable, deligent and professional when it comes to family law and that's hard to come by. After meeting with several other law firms, I decided to retain Mr. Findling because he put my mind at ease by explaining various outcomes, the time it may take as well as introduced me to his Associate Attorneys, support staff and reassured me he would fight tooth and nail for the best outcome for me and my minor children and that's exactly what he did at my depositions and mediation.
