Absolutely rude.....told I will be contacted with a amount over 5 times, mind you I'm trying to pay them on the spot. I asked if I can be emailed the total amount, due to the fact it changes pending who I speak with in the same day. Tell them soon as they email me the pay off on the letterhead, while I'm on the phone I will send the payment. Get the email no letterhead. Get hung up on because I asked if I upset the lady by the way her attitude was. These people are the absolute worst and very unprofessional. 5 months and I cant give them money. Unreal

Horrible! So rude! I've worked with sooo many debt collection agencies (yes I'm BROKE!) this is the ONLY one that I've ever had a problem with. They basically hang up on you when you call...not to mention the attitude you'll get from them. They treat you like you're below them and you're a bum (oh so sorry my family got sick). I can't even get them to tell me enough information to pay them! I honestly don't know how the people that work there sleep at night. If you have a case with them- don't expect them to talk to you like you're a human being. They are simply heartless.

I owed some money, it got to the point that it was sent here, we spoke on the phone and set up an arrangement and now it's payed off. Dealing with a collections agency isn't going to be a pleasant experience obviously , everyone wants to keep the money you work for. But once my debt got here they were FAR easier than dealing with the business I owed and I very much preferred dealing with Leiken, Ingber & Winters (that says a lot about the business I owed that a collection agency was easier to interact with). My payment terms were higher than I anticipated, but they needed to be in order to pay it off within a reasonable time, I get that and once I started seeing that balance drop more and more I was grateful since then I would be done with it faster. Whenever I called, which was a handful of times over the course of my payment terms for account balance updates, they always supplied all the information I needed quickly and if I had questions they were very helpful and gave me a thorough explanation. I'm only giving 4 stars as the phone wait time can be lengthy (5-15 minutes) and this is the only means of getting account details, there is no online portal or monthly statement mailed. This is likely not their fault per say, but it would be nice and save some time if payees could see their account details and stay up to date on where it stands. It would have been VERY nice if paying online were an option too. In my experience they weren't a horror show to deal with as other reviewers indicate, I was never treated rudely by any means and their staff were knowledgeable and in some cases pleasant to converse with while getting the information I needed.

I've been dealing with them for now two years. With a garnishment. And a payment. For my car. Very very rude. And not good people. I simply called to ask when my garnishment was up she told me Jan 20th ok no problem I asked what form of payments do you take do u take debt credit etc she replied yes I said ok because I don't like sending money orders then it changed to o well since you bounced payments we don't take them. Then when I asked if they were to garnish again could we agree to a lower percentage amount she said no we don't do that its state mandatory that we take 25% and the whole time she's loud with me well if u just make ur payments and pay . I will be contacting business burrow . You are terrible people . Terrible. I know it's not mandatory as it states in the court papers that we can go to court to agree to a lower one.

I am only giving 1 star because I had to in order to write a review. BEWARE THEY ARE A BAD COMPANY I spent 4 hours on the phone with them trying to make good on a $500.00 bill that Beumont made a mistake on. This company does not send out bills to you they have an automatic dialer that contacts you via phone if your answering machone picks up the recorded dialer speaks leaving a message "this is a debt collecter trying collect a debt are you person "X" if this is not you please hang up if this is you please press number something. Than a long pause and it starts again and they disconnect never leaving a company name or phone number to reach them back at. I hought it was some kind of spam voice mail and deleted it. After about 30 messages it finally stopped calling. I never recieved any bills in the mail from this office only a a default judgement ftom 48th district court while I was on vacation. I called the court and found out I had 7 days left of the 21 to pay it, work out settlement with the collectoror file a motion at the court to have the judge settle it. I tried calling this office a few times times they are rude, long,wait put u on a silent hold and after 15 min the phone gets disconnected. They take a message and say they need to call Beumont to see if they will settle by letting me pay the original $500.00 with out the extra $200.00 in court fees and will call me back in 24 hours. 48 hours later i call back and im treated with the lowest respect there is. The girl was very rude not knowledgeable at all about the process of payment, judgment or anything and just kept saying "you need to pay your full bill how would you like to do that money order " if you dont we coukd gsrnish your wages blah blah interruptions no empathy and not helpful to say the least. I WOULD have paid my bill on time had Beumont submitted it to BCBS properly and coded it right. I called everytime Beumont sent a bill and asked that they do the following: 1. Send me an itemized bill 2. Resubmit it to BCBS with proper codes 3. Can I pay in payments. The only thing I got was a bill for payments never #1 or #2 above I called again requested same as above a 2nd time. I Forgot about it never heard again till 14 + months later and a judgement. I was told it went to a collections office before this lawyers office and they tried to send me the bills nut never called. The only problem here was they transposed some numbers in my address and reversed numbers in Zip code therefore I never recieved notifications. Im thinking twice about their add campaign- DO YOU HAVE A BEUMONT DR? Hmm if you do what would you do after this experience? ???? MY suggestions if this happens to you request #1 and #2 above in writing not over the phone so you have record of it. 2. Get a lawyer because talking to this office is useless they are rude, don't understand the law, or collection so process. They are only trained to collect the debt. I finally gave up on having the bill resubmitted to BCBS and agreed to pay the 500.00 to get this over with however I had to pay full 750.00 because they wouldn't wave court fees even though the mistake was their fault..... Think twice about finding a new Dr. Even though i liked my Dr. their billing department is awful and not helpful....They should be held accountable for the billing errors instead of charging the patient and sending it to this harrassing collections office that beat you down threaten to garnish your wages and ove a bill under 1000.00, and get you to just pay the bill that was not properly billed to begib with. BEWARE find another Dr. with a better billing dept. I also tried contacting Beumont (non profit hospital hmm really) leadership to help me and the CEO Mr. Fox's office NO RESPONSE I'm sure eventually they will get enough complaints anday do somethong abkut this. I will also contacted attorney generals office and filing a complaint. GOOD LUCK BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY BAD BAD BAD
