I recently had check garnished for a hospital bill that was incorrect. After calling every found out it was a bill from St. Johns. The worst part I called St. Johns and was told they didn't have me in any records for a bill. You would think that the matter would be cleared up easy and quickly. No not at all instead no one in a leadership role will return my call from St. Johns. Then this firm tells me nothing they can do because they represent St. Johns. They tell me it has to be my bill simply because my birthday and social matches. I had to tell them I had to clear misinformation on my credit report and dispute items a few times. They even went so far as to tell me that I lived in a city that I never lived in before. I asked once I prove this is not my bill who will refund the money taking out my check. Was told they would have to do it. Well unless St. Johns illegally make up a record in they system that wasn't there before. Discharge papers or something with a copy of my ID or handwriting. This firm we be seeing me in court and St. Johns.

These people are completely untrustworthy and rude. This is my first time dealing with a big medical bill going into collections like this. I have been repeatedly refused any receipts of my payments made. I even spoke with Ms. Susan Winters herself and she promised me a signed letter stating our payment arrangement, this was over a month ago and I still have yet to receive it. I actually had to file a pay installment order through the court so that this company can't go backdoor and garnish me for no reason, and so that it is on file through the court system that I am making monthly payments on this. I still call every month to make sure my payment was taken, every person I talk to asks different information, I have had a few just ask my name and last four digits of my soc. one lady went as far as to start asking me all my banking information!!! Very scary. Everytime I call they can't ever tell me if my payment was taken I always have to check with my bank. These people are crooks and completely ridiculous I have even experienced them hanging up and on me and then not answering my calls for the rest of the day!!!

This set of people are the most horrible, ignorant, rude, and delusional piece of assholes that i've ever seen on this planet earth. I pray God everyday that they all wrath in HELL and they go out of business. I have never ever seen anything like these set of clowns in my entire life. They scammed me out of my $3000 and i'm still fighting to freaking get the damn receipt. The worst horrible customer service ever in the whole entire world. They usually take like forever to pick up calls and when they finally do, so much yelling, insults and attitude on the damn phone. I don't know where they got their business license or whoever gave them this privilege to practice in this state of Michigan. Please!!!! DO NOT PATRONIZE THESE PEOPLE. THEY"RE BAD NEWS AND DON"T DESERVE ANYTHING GOOD IN THEIR LIVES CAUSE THEY TREAT PEOPLE LIKE SCRUBS. Chineke ga akpo ha oku na uwaa..... Amen!!

If I could give them a lower rating I would. This law firm is truly predatory at best. They have come after me three times. The first time was a legitimate medical bill, for which I was making payments but when I moved and went back to school full time I inadvertently forgot to make a few$50 payments because so much was going on. Instead of sending me a friendly reminder, for which I would have gladly sent them $150 to catch up, they garnished my account for the remaining balance! A few months later they came after me again for a huge hospital bill that I'd previously explained to them, several times, was not accurate. I told them what their client needed to do, but they viciously pursued me anyway, and once again garnished my bank account again the day after we got paid, for nearly $3000, leaving us no money for our mortgage, gas, food, my medication for my transplant, nothing! I pleaded for them to return our funds to no avail. They were heartless and cold. I got my state senator involved and he got my money back for me because just as I told them, it was an insurance error. Now, I've just been served papers again, for a credit card judgment from 2003 that doesn't even exist anymore. They are scandalous, cold, and calculating. Watch out for them and be ready to fight. If you're in the right, stand up to them, don't just roll over and let them get away with bullying you because that's what they are...bullies that hide behind their "law degrees". Do your research, know your rights and fight back!

Terrible. I had a bill forwarded there that I wanted to set up a payment plan for. It took me numerous times to get a hold of anyone there, and by the time I did the lady was so rude that I didn't even want talk to her for long. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Do not trust this firm. Their word means nothing. Unethical and they give attorneys a bad name. Consider yourself warned. Stay away

This group of white women take being a white woman to the extreme. They are snobby and rude, they talk to people as if they are scum, it is absolutely unneccesary to treat people the way that they do, as if they are the ones being garnished. They are relentless and unnerving. From my understanding wouldn't it be easier to treat someone nice, especially if they are getting garnished, I mean, I'm just saying. Its easier to be nicer, but these snippy broads lose all professionalism when they answer the phone. If any one wants to get together and file a massive law suit against them for emotional distress, let me know, I have never been disrespected and judged as quickly as I did with these mere-receptionist...and to think they have access to vital information, they just seem as if they are going to take me for a ride later on down the line.

I will say very little. This group, if it's after you- Watch out. They won't care if you are human, if you need to eat... they want your money, and are EXTREMELY aggressive. If this group is after you for a medical bill, HIRE A LAWYER ASAP, even if you can't afford it, trust me.
