If I could give 0 stars, I would. My husband has an account in collections and we sent paperwork agreeing to the payment plan in 01/24 and now in 12/24, they've started a court case because they never received the signed paperwork. I had called to let them know it was in the mail on 1/9/24, we've been making payments, there's been no contact attempts, no notification that paperwork was never received, nothing, until we got something from the courts notifying us of the court case.
No help was provided over the phone, and I was told a supervisor would contact me, but I'm not hopeful for that as I've had to reach out after asking them to reach out about this.

Imagine thinking you’re so special, you don’t have to follow the law at all. A little ironic being lawyers, yeah? Congratulations on taking advantage of someone with a traumatic brain injury, and I hope you’re proud of yourself. Failed to validate this debt, failed to inform me that I was being sued, failed to return multiple phone calls, and failed at being decent human beings. The world would be a much better place without scumbag leeches such as this company.

Tried to make a payment, I asked who answered to see if it was my same previous rep and he got mad and ended the call. Guess that means don’t need to make payments anymore? Thanks Jim!

The receptionist gal started out the call very kind and courteous. She asked for my case number or social. I provided it and she was still very kind. She put me on hold and came back REALLY cocky for no reason! Ok lady, take your Midol and chill! Holy crap. Totally did NOT deserve that kind of attitude.

Erin Brown, remember that part of collection is dispute, you getting irritated, hostile and intentionally mispronouncing someone name is irresponsible and xenophobia. Why would you mispronounce a name intentionally? its only 2 syllables. Saying that "you were willing to talk until I disputed it" sounds childish and shows lack of knowledge on how collection process works. Why won't someone dispute what they disagree with. This was an international call with wasted minutes. When something does not go your way, stop getting irritated, if you hate the job, you quit.
