Very knowledgeable & reasonably priced

My husband and I came to Jeffrey Scott after having a very disappointing experience with another lawyer. He immediately drafted a letter to the other lawyer, and within a week the other lawyer had returned 1750 dollars that we thought was lost for good. He then completed our estate planning documents in a pleasant and efficient manner, and spelled everything out to us in language we could understand. We now feel confident and secure, whereas before meeting Jeffrey Scott we felt bewildered and overwhelmed.

Read all the reviews and thought this place would be helpful for my husband's probate as a grieving widow. NOT!!! The attorney called me back. I think his name was Jeff Something. The first thing out of his mouth was "you are not getting it all". When I asked what I could get, he told me it was a legal question and he couldn't answer that. When I asked him what the Minnesota Statute was for the Probate Law, he said he didn't have it right here. This firm does retirement and estate planning classes. All these google reviews are from those that attended the classes. In real life, they have no compassion for grieving widows or widowers nor do they know what the laws are or where they are found unless you pay them to tell you. If you are looking for a probate attorney, go somewhere else. I did and I found out I do get everything.

I met Amanda Hespen when she taught a Community Ed class in my local school district on estate planning. After her class I had a better idea of what I wanted, and knew that I would like to work with her. I responded to her questionnaire with some details about my wishes, but struggled with one section. Amanda set the document aside and told me not to worry about editing the document, just tell her what I wanted, and she captured my intent perfectly. The documents she created for me to bring to my banker to make account changes were perfect, and the banker was pleased with the clarity and completeness of Amanda’s instruction letter. Creating my estate plan with Amanda was a very personalized experience. I highly recommend her services.
