I divorced in 2011 with my ex. Ms Chou. The outcome was very unsatisfactory; because I used a cheap lawyer who is incapable and layback. During the divorce; ownership of a rental place located 736 High st Bethlehem PA was agreed to share 50 50. The rental will go the Chou for payment for life insurance policy premium, Chou purchased. In the beginning everything was fine. Then new tenants don't pay rent, damage the property, facilities. Anything bad they all happened. Chou did not take care of anything, rental,repair, utility fees go to court evicitions. I did and pay for everything. My new wife Rebecca helped fix a lot of repair work. I spent a lot of money for repair, utilities, taxes. Meanwhile, my older Ivane daughter started college, Chou paid her college fees. So both parties expected the money spent in rental and Ivane college fee will be shared 50 50. I sent email to Chou asking Chou to pay 50% of rental expanses of ~ $40000.00 Chou, asked to pay my share of Ivane's college fee ~ $25000. Over the 5 year from 2011 to 2016, I kept informing Chou the 5 years, rental loss, tax, utilities cost and asked her to take over the management of the rental property 738 High st. She never agreed to that. Things began turn ugly. In 2016 around April, I received a lawyer's letter saying Chou suing me for $70,000; equivalent to 5 years of rental, plus college fee $28000. If I don't pay. She requested Court frozen all my assets. On the day I received the letter, My blood pressure went up over 200! Rebecca advised me to look online for a better lawyer. I found 2, One of them is Jennifer McCaskill, LLC, After talking to Jennifer, I had a good feeling. So Jenn was hired for my case. Long story short, the $70k was denied, from then on I have to start pay school fee for Ivane 50 50. When Ivane was reaching 23rd birthday (emancipation) and getting into 5th year college Jenn help me closed the case. Then came the younger daughter Jennica, when getting near her 23rd birthday, Chou wanted me to entended child support for another 2 years after emancipation which was rejected by the judge. In 2022 Chou sued me again to pay what she claim the overpay portion by her. After presented all bank statement and school financial statements showing actual overpay facts. She help me won the case again in May 2022. I might have presented a long story. Let me summarize the following: 1. Jenn has a sharp mind and knows how to present client's case, with solid figures, facts and convincing approach. She is very bold in protecting her clients. 2. When the client run into financial difficult, she is understanding, and help the client. She does show the human side character, and not a typical money sucking lawyer. 3.
