Regardless of offense, nailing a quality lawyer can be like playing Russian roulette with your future depending on your charges. I had never dealt with a legal matter as severe as what I was facing and the pending case caused me to lose my job. The last thing I wanted to do was spend a ton of money on a lawyer right after losing my primary source of income. After some research my wife and I went with Tom and his firm. Due to the length of my case Tom shared court appearance duties with another lawyer whose name escapes me, but they both were always present and looking out for my best interest. They were honest with me throughout the entire process and although I became uncertain at times their collective knowledge and expertise made me hopeful. I appreciated the professionalism and efforts of Tom and his associates. I highly recommend Tom and can attest that I got exactly what I paid for.

I don’t even know how to express our gratitude for what Atty Tom Martin did for our son, and for our entire family. We never expected the outcome Tom was able to negotiate, and we still don’t know how he managed it. Our son was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct - charges that, if he were convicted, would have dire consequences for him professionally. Tom was able to negotiate the dismissal of both those charges if our son would plead guilty to a local ordinance. That deal allows our son to move forward with his life, without a criminal record. We had no idea what to expect because we had no experience in the criminal courts; the stress level was pretty high. Tom met our son at the lowest point in his life, but always treated him with respect. I can't tell you how important that was to him. He was always available and helpful and we are beyond grateful. His manner is very laid back and calm - exactly what our son needed from his attorney. No one ever wants to be in the position we found ourselves in, but we are all grateful for Tom's amazing work. I'll start by saying Tom is a really likable guy. I was in some trouble and the consequences seemed fairly certain given my jacket. Tom managed to pull of a miracle and I avoided those consequences for which I am grateful every single day as my life would be drastically different with them than it presently is without. I was charged with N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10 (possession of cds under 50 grams); N.J.S.A. 2C:36-2 (paraphernalia), N.J.S.A. 39:4-49.1 (cds in a motor vehicle). I knew I needed a lawyer and one that I can afford. After making some calls and going through some free consultations. Mr. Martin actually walked me through what would happen if I hired him, he was confident in the results and affordable. Mr. Martin was able to dismiss all my drug charges, he made it look easy. All I had to pay for was the small court fee and a loud exhaust ticket. I would highly recommend him.
