Damien Smith at Duffy and Duffy in Uniondale provided outstanding service in settling my brother’s case against a nursing home for injuries related to pressure injuries (‘bed sores’). Mr. Smith was extraordinarily knowledgeable, thorough and compassionate, as he worked with us to obtain the maximum settlement for our case. I would highly recommend Duffy and Duffy (especially Damien Smith) to fight to hold nursing homes accountable for their bad outcomes.

Damien was very personable and professional in his approach. I felt at ease with how he communicated with me and I felt very informed. At no time did I feel like I was a burden. I never felt intimidated working with Duffy & Duffy. All of my questions were answered in a way that I felt very comfortable. I would highly recommend them for medical malpractice and nursing home abuse. Duffy & Duffy will help you navigate a very difficult time and you will never feel intimidated.

Recently having been dealt with a serious car accident of my dad one of the most important matters to me was the responsiveness of the firm. After speaking with a few firms I was pleasantly surprised by how responsive they were. Once we retained them I have nothing but the good things to say about the firm's staff at every level. I would recommend them.
