Just as the other reviewers mentioned. Mr. Lanier is truly the real deal. My wife and I took a small vacation retreat from our hectic lives to Flat Rock NC to regroup. My first time ever visiting the state of NC. I am out of state and unfortunately I was cited for speeding on I-26 over 20 MPH. After getting the citation within 1 hour of researching for traffic attorneys within the area Mr. Lanier caught my attention based on the amazing reviews from his other clients. I gave him a call 3 hours after my citation and he called me back that night on a FRIDAY. Very to the point on the situation very kind spoken gentleman. He knew my court date before looking back my citation to confirm. The moment I mentioned I-26 he knew right away what happened. Steep and extreme grades on the road and how there is a special spot where state troopers hide. He knew it all with no need for me to explain. If you are out of state I extremely recommend contacting Mr. Lanier. I have never worked with an attorney who was honest, fair, and really understand your point of view. After my 3 day stay in Flat Rock NC, on our way going home we noticed the state trooper at it again right at the same spot sitting on I-26 hiding right after the road bends. By the time we got home 2 days later my case was resolved. Mr. Lanier was even kind enough to provide me where I could pay my settlement fine in his email. He had emailed me at 11 pm EST. now that is someone show has passion for what they do. He was able to do exactly what he said from our phone conversation. Over 20 speeding down to improper equipment no points no insurance increase all within the same week of getting the citation. No need to travel back to NC to appear in court and everything settled very quickly without having to take time off from work. I will be keeping his number If I am every visiting the area. Jody is the best traffic attorney in Asheville, NC! There isn't enough word's to describe how well he handles thing's. If I could give him more than 5 star's I would & highly recommend him. Awesome experience, great advice & just a big help all together. I had my situation taking care of less than 30 minutes over the phone & 2 day's before my court date. I did not have to appear in court he reduced my ticket so no point's on license or insurance. I was very pleased & satisfied over the outcome. I had so much stress lifted off me after talking to him. I was traveling to NC from out of state and had a slip of judgement 15.5 hours in to a 16 hour drive. I was pulled over going well over the speed limit and received a notice for speeding as well as accompanying charges. Jody was able to get my case resolved over a month before the date and got my violation down to a standard speeding ticket. I don't know what I would've done without him. He's super informative and acts quickly and effectively. I hope I'm never in this situation again, but if I were I'd know to call Jody.
