When my husband and I decided to buy our first house we were referred to Brenna Heller to assist with closing. She made us feel comfortable with the process and the closing was seamless. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

When we decided to buy our first house my wife and I were very nervous about who we should choose to use for our closing attorney. We were recommended to use Brenna Heller through close friends of ours. I couldn't be more pleased about the experience. Brenna and her team of paralegals made it so easy! When we sat down everything was organized and laid out for us. She made the experience easy to understand and explained exactly what we were signing. I certainly recommend this firm and will absolutely be using them again.

Negative 5 stars ! We wish we read the reviews before our consultation. We will NEVER EVER use them again!!!! Ralph McMillan is rude, incompetent and unprofessional. He charged a lot of money to give us answers like I don't know, yes, or no ..... all answers were vague. ... Horrible service, from the attorney to the front desk. They treat you like if they are doing you a favor. We would be better using cheap online services ....

Terrible. They do not record outside Mecklenburg county on Friday unless you show up at 8am. Unacceptable service. Do not ever use this attorney if you need to close on a property.

Never use them! I wish I could give 0 stars. Ralph McMillan was unresponsive, rude, the contract was majorly wrong - he had the lessee as the lessor and vice versa all throughout. When I respectfully gave my feedback in email on how he treated me, my clients, & his service he never once apologized but told me my clients don't need to come to him. Needless to say we had already gone elsewhere for the final piece. Very unprofessional!

Nice enough people, but did not keep their word. I had a 3 pm closing on a Thurs. and I have never been to a closing where the papers had not been recorded and monies were not ready for distribution. That was my first red flag. I told him he could mail me the check because I did not want to pay extra for wiring. I asked Markey when it would go out. He said if he could record them that day it would go out that afternoon, but definitely on Friday. Well, being in the city, there is a one day delivery. However, it did not come in Sat. mail. And late Friday afternoon the people buying had checked for me and it was not in the outgoing mail. So, now I do not expect to get them Monday now. So, Markey simply dropped the ball. I gave them 2 stars because they seemed nice enough, but I would rather they have done what they say they were going to do.

Don't use for your home closing. There was zero communication and I had to call and find out where my HUD document was the day before closing. When I received it there was a glaring mistake that would have cost me $600. When I called to address the issue they didn't take responsibility.

NEVERY EVER use them ever!!!! I just got cussed out and told to Shut Up by Ralph McMillan for dropping off the paperwork he needed to complete a deal. They are very unprofessional. I've dealt with a lot of real estate attorney 's and I've never been spoken this way. Even if we disagreed I was always treated with respect. Ralph McMillan doesn't have respect and I would never use this law firm as long as he is a partner. He tried to argue over the word void, when I asked why he needed a voided contract and he asked "are you an attorney?" By the way Ralph here's what Void means: In law, void means of no legal effect. An action, document or transaction which is void is of no legal effect whatsoever: an absolute nullity -- the law treats it as if it had never existed or happened.

I was lucky enough to be referred to Mrs. Sellers after I left my husband of 16 years. As with most divorces, this is an emotional and stressful time. I cannot say enough good things about Ms. Sellers and her paralegal, Jenny Pattana. Not only did they provide legal support and advice, they eased the emotional burden. Mrs. Sellers's prices were reasonable and she guided me on ways I could save money. If you need a family attorney, she is your girl!

Do not close with this law firm. Incompetent all around.

Mrs. Sellers helped me through a very difficult contested divorce and custody case. She guided me professionally from the moment I first sat down with her to tell her my "story". All aspects of my divorce were a challenge. We had a temp custody trial, a full custody trial, and lawyer to lawyer property mediations. My case took nearly a year and a half to finally settle. Mrs. Sellers dealt with and handled my significant other changing between two different lawyers and even going pro se at one point. Through it all Mrs. Sellers and her staff were incredible. I truly believe that I would not have been able to Father my children full time, as I do now, due to naivety, lack of knowledge, and lack of experience if it were not for the help of Mrs. Sellers and her amazing staff.
