I worked with Leigh for the past four years in a very complex custody case “that was the Judge definition”. I do believe miracles exist, I do believe in God, I do believe in fairness and justice, I do believe money is not the main aspect who drives justice and a good case, Leigh proved me that…is the case itself, true and justice. Leigh demonstrated that to me with the excellent professional handling of my case prior, during and post. She is mine and my son’s personal guardian angel. We won’t every battle in four years, two mediations, three agreements and five days trial, if this does not speak by itself what would be? I trusted her since day one, I’ve always follow her recommendations and advises, she’s very very professional in what she does. In our case where involved almost the whole SC falimy justice system and every possible resource available including GAL, supreme court, two judges, four attorneys, two mediations, depositions along with others. I do think everything happens for a reason and between God, true and justice Leigh and i defeated one of the toughest attorneys in SC on behalf of my son and family. The Urrego’s family will always be grateful for such a great team of professionals who assisted Leigh to get this job completed, Thank you all.

Cliff Markey and his team did a great job helping us purchase our (hopefully) last home. Their price was very competitive, they answered all of our questions, and were available whenever we needed counsel - responding to ALL of the emailed questions we had regarding a for-sale-by-owner purchase. Several friends of mine have used this firm to purchase their own homes and all recommended John C (Cliff) Markey. I'd be very comfortable recommending them to my friends and family.

I was not satisfied with the quality of service; in fact, they let our home owner\'s insurance lapse during a refinance. The staff was not friendly or helpful. Particularly, when we were made aware of the lapse, we asked them to wire the money to our insurance company, and they refused, stating it was not their policy. Huh? Not your policy...but clearly your MISTAKE. The staff did not adhere to the time schedule. Again, they failed to carefully handle the transition involved in a refinance. Specifically, they forgot to pay our insurance company. Crazy. As for price, they miscalculated closing costs, and we had to pay out-of-pocket on top of the loan, because of their error. Incredulous! With so many mistakes, the attorney should have groveled at our feet and certainly paid the difference of the closing cost error, in the least. Instead, we never even received an apology UNTIL I made it known I, personally, would find the time to review his services. Therefore, I consider this attorney and his staff void of integrity and professionalism at all levels. The whole journey was appalling. Run the other way...

Very pleased with how she handled my case. She kept me informed. Knows the law. She treated me and my family with respect. Highly recommend!

Charged me constantly. Did not advocate for me. Dumped me off on an associate minutes before my mediation. The associate had never done a mediation. Had no patience with me or for my questions. I am in a bad way because of her. Leigh "fired" me because of slow payment. Refused monthly payments. Stay Away !!!!!!!
