I’ve had closing’s with Shoaf Law & my builder client for nearly 2 years now. Never had any issues and experience has always been top notch!

The buyers used this law firm, and I represented the sellers. We had to request, at least 4 times, that they send necessary documents to the sellers, who were signing remotely. This was finally done 4 days before closing. After closing, my sellers did not receive the wire proceeds, because their voided check was thrown out, by the paralegal. I also had to request executed documents be sent to the sellers. My company’s commission check was mailed to the wrong office, even though I requested to pick it up. I’ve never experienced this kind of service from a law firm before. Most of all, the lack of accountability, was very disappointing.

Everyone here was very helpful and professional every step of the way. I love that they worked with my schedule to make my closing super convenient. I would recommend them to everyone!

Incompetent and unprofessional. Upsetting experience in the office.

HORRIBLE experience. The buyers of our home used this firm and 24 hrs after selling our home, the proceeds still were not released for us to be able to close on new home. Typos abounded in clerical work. Husband wasnt listed on seller information even though he was on all contract documentation. Avoid avoid avoid.

Not a very good experience for my clients and their title work was shoddy at best. We had to get a second opinion on title from another attorney and they were able to come back with the answers we needed. They also missed a buyer credit that was negotiated up front on an all cash transaction and would have shorted my buyer $800 if I didn't bring it to their attention. They need to make some internal changes and take a minute to review the contracts before closing.

I would not do business with this law firm again. I have been in the real estate business nearly a decade, and I have not dealt with such incompetence in a law firm before.

Horrible firm to work with. I came across numerous spelling errors in prepared documents, they won’t return calls, they fail to follow through on requests and you have to chase them for answers. Surprised they can even stay in business. Avoid and bring your business elsewhere.

I hired Mr. Jesson and his firm to help me with a federal lawsuit filed against me by my ex-husband. The case was handled very quickly, and everyone in the firm was extremely polite and helpful. Mr. Jesson communicated with me regularly about how the case was proceeding and made sure I understood all aspects of the case so I could make informed decisions during a very stressful time.
