I filed bankruptcy in 2009. Koury Hicks was my attorney. He was always there to answer my questions and make this process so easy and less painfull.I would recomend him to anyone looking to file a consumer bankruptcy.

I had some unusual circumstances in my case that required cross reference to other state and federal appeals and written opinions. Mr. Hicks always kept me informed with realistic expectations, was thorough in his interviewing process and timely in his communications to me, usually the same day. I sincerely appreciated his assistance in a very difficult time for me.

I obviously didn't want to file bankruptcy but sometimes unforeseen circumstances can get in the way of life. I was very nervous at my 341 meeting when my name was called but Mr. Hicks sat me down and told me what to expect and addressed my concerns. He then said I was being my own worst critic of myself and that bad financial things can happen to good people and that's what bankruptcy was for. He made me feel like a person and that I had the right to get on with my life.
