I contacted Jesse Scharff he answered right away he couldn't of been more caring and understanding. Jesse Scharff (and the Scharff Law Firm) is amazing beyond belief! To summarize – here are reasons you should hire Jesse Scharff without delay: 1. Jesse and Reba communicate well. This also goes for all the personnel in his office. Jesse and the Scharff Law firm do their best to answer your questions within 24 hours and they keep you informed through the whole process. 2. Jesse will not bullshit or sugarcoat you. He will be straightforward and let you know his thoughts and opinions about your case. 3. Jesse knows the Judges, the DA’s and all the people important in your case. He has the ability to spot weaknesses in the prosecution and the officers. a. He will give you information to review – so you can review if you would like. In my case, I reviewed everything. I researched a ton and none of that mattered, because Jesse had it handled. b. Jesse will also give you the standard information for you to do prior to your court case. c. Do what he says. I finished all the classes, pre-work and community service before my first court case in preparation for the worst scenario. Here are my reasons and why I say the above: I hired Jesse for a DWI charge. He was a recommendation from a friend, whom in her case had a different attorney she fired, in order to hire Jesse. The Sunday morning after my arrest on Saturday, I called Jesse’s number, about an hour later, he called me and we spoke for about an hour. In this initial conversation, I was impressed; not only by what he had to say, but also because of his demeanor and the steps he took to outline what I should do next. Every time I met with Jesse, he was organized and on track. Here is where Jesse’s experience and patience seals the deal. When the DA was arguing my case, she went after everything, my demeanor, and my character and she presented a few incorrect facts and made broad and unclear assumptions. Jesse leaned over to me and said, “All she is proving is that you were intoxicated” and that’s what she did. After about an hour and thirty minutes, the DA only proved that I was intoxicated and could did not prove that I was driving or that I was complicit in any illegal activity. Jesse got up and spoke for about three minutes to refute the evidence and said “Your Honor, we have no evidence my client was in the car, and much less driving.” My case was dismissed and all charges dropped. My arrest and record were expunged and I have my life back. The Scharff Law Firm is exactly what it is supposed to be. It’s not super fancy, glamorous or in a pretentious high rise building. I ran into Jesse's profile on this website as I was searching for an attorney to aid my mother in a domestic violence case. As soon as I saw his profile, I called my mom to to ask her to schedule a consultation with him. Although most of the existing reviews concerned speeding/dwi/traffic charges, I received enough insight about his character that made me want to recommend him to her for the Domestic Violence Protection Order case. When both of us went to talk to him for the first time, we were amazed by how well he was able to understand our story and my mother decided to hire him. He both showed empathy, compassion, and dedication to protect her. Throughout the following weeks Jesse always stayed on top of our case, explained to us the possible outcomes and supported our decisions. During the court trial, we were extremely nervous but it helped to see Jesse sitting on the side with a calm facial expression. As he sat with my mother in front of the judge, he did his best to calm her nerves and to remind her that he was there for her. Above all else it was beneficial to her to have someone fight for her to both defend her story and depict to the judge all the violence she had to endure over many years.
