After being incredibly frustrated about an issue I was having with my vehicle, my angst was immediately quelled after speaking with Rick McNeil. From the outset, he was thorough, upfront, reliable, honest and responsive. He shepherded me through the entire process of filing a Lemon Law complaint, managed my expectations every step of the way and handled all of the details with the utmost professionalism. For anyone in a similar position as I was, I would highly recommend Rick McNeil's counsel.

I was referred to Will Owens by another attorney, which I should have known better. Will seemed very good at the beginning. I had a car accident, was rear ended. I had been to another attorney who was terrible. He refused to give me my files unless I signed a paper giving him money from the accident. Will had all of the files, pictures, etc. I met with him many times. He said I had a great case. The girl that hit me was on her phone, hit me going about 40 mph, I was stopped for a red light. I did not go to the ER right away because I had my 2 dogs in my car and they wanted to take them to the Wake County Shelter. I had no one to take the dogs or come get me. I could not get a rental car either. Will said he was going to sue my insurance as well as the other insurance, he did not do this. I never got my rental car money back, I lost over 100k dollars. Will was terrible at returning phone calls. I kept having health issues from the accident. Mediation was terrible. Will told me to make a list of all my medical bills and expenses which I did. In court he failed to submit even half of what I had lost. I had to pay back my insurance, which I could not afford to pay back over 100k in medical bills. During the trial Will did not even pay attention, I was the one that had to object to the other attorneys questions. The judge had to ask Will if he wanted to object, Will did not even know what the question was. I saw the video tape for the first time in court of Will's interview with my doctor, what a joke. Will was nervous, he was shaking and sweating when asking questions and during closing, he kept repeating himself. Will refused to bring up any background on the girl that hit me because she had rear-ended 3 people recently. He let the opposing attorney has me all sorts of background questions, my driving records, my previous accidents, etc. which I had no tickets, no accidents, one fender bender that was not my fault. Will did not even know that there had been a revised accident report by the police. It was still in a tube that he brought to court, but had never seen it. Will refused to appeal. I lost everything. Will is one of the worst attorneys I have ever dealt with. He would not even return my phone calls after the trial. I would give him a zero star if possible. He refused to use evidence that would have showed the girl was totally at fault, was on her phone. My car should have been totaled, I had to get rid of it because it would not stay in alignment, it leaked water, etc. I was scared to drive it because it would cut off on me. He said I had to keep the car, which I told him I was scared to drive it. He said if I traded the car, it would hurt the case. He refused to use all of the pictures from the accident. I never to anything for the rental car, my medical bills, my new car, expenses, etc. I ended with a check for 5k dollars which did not even cover my 100k in medical bills. Will had to negotiate with my insurance company and I paid them 2k dollars. Will got nothing and neither did the former attorney. He emailed me this ridiculous reasons for what he did, which was pure nonsense after the trial. He refused to call me or return my phone calls after the trial.

After a very horrible issue with my new Chevy truck due to the technicians at Team Chevy and even worse customer service from Team Chevy in Boone, I found Mr. McNeil. I had called other attorneys and had no response. Mr. McNeil responded quickly, he explained everything in full detail and always followed up every phone conversation with an email with every point we had discussed. If I got busy and failed to respond on my end, he made sure to follow up. He was able to get me more money than I expected from Chevy/GM and was extremely professional, polite and never let anything fall through the cracks. His communication is ideal. I never had to wonder if he was working hard on my behalf. I highly recommend him and his firm.

We were having electrical issues with our 2019 Silverado. We felt GM was not marking us a priority even though everything had been replaced and the problem still continued so i reached out to McNeil Law Office. They were informative and up front about the process. Once the case was resolved we received a check from GM greater than what I expected. Would use again and will refer him to anyone having issues

I would recommend Richard McNeil to anybody who needs assistance with lemon law cases. It would take a long time to describe his professionalism and dedication; however, I can just sum up by letting you know that I’m driving a brand new and problem free car thanks to his efforts. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient, explaining to me the process and answering all of my questions. There were no surprises, he kept me informed and prepared every step of the way.

Mr. McNeil promised and delivered! I was treated better by Mr. McNeil than any other person or place of business ever has. We fought with GM motor company and even when GM said they wasn’t going to give me any kind of compensation Mr McNeil wouldn’t stop until they gave me every penny possible!
