We scheduled a meeting with Russ Golowin to discuss the process for obtaining Medicaid benefits for my father's move to a skilled nursing facility. Russ was very helpful. His discussions of the process and what we needed to do before applying for Medicaid were clear. He then followed up with a point by point email outlining the necessary steps. He was very reassuring during this difficult time for our family.

We needed guidance on estate and Medicaid planning for my eighty-year-old parents, who may soon need nursing care. Ohio has its own laws and rules regarding how Medicaid can be tapped for Long Term Care and they were confusing and costly if not adhered to. His fees were reasonable and transparent, compared to some other Elder Law Attorneys who tried to sell us on much larger "packages" of legal assistance, which we didn't need at the time.
