I was impressed by Russ's expertise the first time I attended one of his sessions for the future school retirees. His demeanor and easiness with which he navigated through the murky territory of pension laws impressed me to such a degree that I decide, right then and there, to ask him to help us with the will/trust. The fact that he lived and practiced in Columbus and we were located in the Cleveland area did not phase us in the least. He exceeded my expectations! Mr. Golowin has been extremely helpful to me and my husband. Our initial meeting was to set up a will and trust. Russ was very knowledgeable and informative regarding elder care. After my husband died, Russ took care of all my legal issues, including working with the Veterans Administration. He not only is a great Attorney, but he is also a trustworthy gentleman. I am very fortunate to have found him.

I attended a seminar conducted by Russ that was sponsored through STRS of Ohio where he provided valuable information about estate planning. I approached him afterward for help with my own estate planning. Although his office is located in Columbus and I live in Greater Cleveland, he facilitated the process through phone, e-mail, and U. S. mail. He offered advice and suggestions, and answered my numerous questions. I was very pleased with his work, and he subsequently prepared estate planning documents for my adult daughter as well. I found Russ to be thorough, patient, and helpful.

Russ helped me with finalizing my estate planning. I thought I had everything in order but learned there were adaptations I had to make and changes in law that necessitated new documents. We accomplished everything in one office visit, telephone conference and email exchanges. The cost for services was reasonable and the work of high quality. Russ was thorough, listened to my concerns and got the job done.

Russell provided excellent service while helping me apply for Medicare benefits for my grandmother. Due to his expertise in Veterans Administration law, he enabled my grandmother to apply for and receive a monthly stipend from the VA because of her spouse's service in WW2. He was very thorough with the application process and I was amazed how quickly he navigated her application through the system. Russell's insight was vital in helping my grandmother receive the aid she certainly was entitled to. I would recommend Russell to any of my family or friends for help with an elder law situation. After initial sessions with the team, Mr Russell Golowin became my personal contact for guidance with regard to procedures and the process for qualifying a family member for Medicaid eligibility. Russ helped my wife and me create a will with powers of attorney and health care documents with living will and HIPAA paperwork. Russ is thoughtful and knowledgeable in his approach to issues of estate planning documents and made the process very simple. Russ also helped my father deal with complex Medicaid and nursing home questions.
