Filing Bankruptcy with Attorney Michael Primus is as as smooth as it can get I originally filed with another firm and 18 months later nothing was resolved. I fiired them and hired Michael Primus in October 2024 and by February 18 2025 my bankruptcy is complete. Mr Primus is very very professional and personable. From our first conversation I felt relaxed and learned more about bankruptcy in one conversation then I did in 18 months with that other firm. I HIGHLY recommend the Law office of Michael J Primus.

It's a hard pill to swallow when you come to a point where you must debate on whether you should file for bankruptcy or not. After weighing all possible options, I decided to file and was referred to Robert Fox. It had started as an initial phone call with quick questions regarding your income, your debt and your expenses. This is what they call the Means test. After answering all the questions, I was told I was a "good" candidate to file. We then proceeded to schedule a future date to talk again going into further details about my debt and expenses. What was really nice for me was i asked if we should talk over the phone or meet in person. Robert said it was my preference and really didn't mind if I chose either way. He understood that people were busy and couldn't always make time to travel to his office. However, he did suggest that meeting in person would be more personable. That right away made me feel a bit more relieved during the process. It gave me a sense of security in knowing he wanted to do his job and do it right. And if it meant putting a face to a file, then i was all for it.
On my office visit, I was greeted by Iris at the front desk. (Please pay attention to her. She is another instrumental person in the process). Very pleasant and nice lady. After meeting with Robert and getting all the things done during our discussion, Iris gave me papers to look over and sign and gave me my list of things to do over the next couple of days. She also told me she would be in contact with me from time to time til my hearing. And in the days leading up to my hearing, she always gave me detailed instructions on everything and anything. Don't worry, Robert was always available for me whenever I had any questions.
Now one thing before I end my review. You, as the client, must do everything asked of you by Robert and Iris if you want the whole process to go smoothly and without a hitch. If you do your part, and do it right, they can do theirs correctly.
Robert and Iris, thank you for everything. A huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Thank you again.

As I read the reviews below I don't believe that I can top the high praise that this law firm has received, what I can do is tell you that this firm ended up co counseling (took over) from my original attorney in the middle of the case. Robert Johnson was short of spectacular, he literally hit the ground running. Extremely knowledgeable and quick on his feet. As a client you should always want the meanest/ nastiest kicking mule that will have your best interest in mind. Robert is that attorney, during some of the proceedings to watch Robert was extremely impressive. As he strategized with his team and explained it to where I could understand it made me feel at ease. Robert was able to get a settlement that was well past my expectations and couldn't have been happier. His staff including but not limited to Rosa was extremely professional, Rosa was my main contact and she was absolutely amazing through this process. This was a huge undertaking for them to take over like they did and they did it like true professionals. If you need a kicking mule do not hesitate to call them. You will not be disappointed.

I called his firm and sent over documents for him to review. He was the only attorney who actually called me back and discussed my case. Unfortunately my case was not what he handles but, I had a consumer law case against a car dealership he gave me some great information that I was not aware of that made my case stronger,explained a particular statute to me and gave some referrals. Even the office staff who take the calls are educated and know how to answer a call. Not very common today when I have called other offices. You can tell just from being on the phone with him he loves what he does and care about his clients and the bestoutcome.

I suffered a spine injury as the result of a T-bone car crash, the other driver at fault. We got nothing but gutter-ball offers from her insurance company. What you hear on the radio is true – the insurance companies simply will not take your case seriously until you file a suit. This is where I was glad to have Ken and his team on my side. The burden to convince a jury of my losses lies with me the plaintiff, which then requires conducting extensive research, gathering and organizing supporting documents. After Ken submitted all of this material during the pre-trial discovery the insurance company decided to make a reasonable settlement offer.

I never thought I would need Jon’s expertise again but here I am, singing his praises because he helped me out. I had a traffic issue that I knew I could have dealt with myself but I knew that the outcome probably wouldn't go the way I wanted if I represented myself so I called the one person I knowwho is one of the best, Jon Hackworth. Not only did he take on my case, he assured me he could get me the result I wanted, and he did! Actually, it was taken care of a week before I was to go before a judge! Out of the blue, he reached out to me and told me my case was dismissed. I was beyond thrilled! Jon is so knowledgeable and skilled in the law that I won’t trust anybody else but him. I will turn to him again if I have to not only for myself but for my family too, I have that much faith in him. Going to court and dealing with legal matters is so stressful but I don’t worry anymore because Jon is so good at what he does and he always has my back. Had a wonderful experience working with Anna. I had a freak trip and fall accident and the injuries turned out to be significant. Had to go through multiple surgeries. Anna was very diligent and responsive, did not pressure or rush me, and waited for me to recover before initiating the claims process. Anna is the type of attorney that REALLY REALLY cares about you and your well-being and doesn’t rush or try to crank you out as another client like you would expect out of an injury attorney/ large firm. Trust me I’ve heard stories from others about their experiences with other attorneys.
The difference with her is that she is doing her job because she really cares and has her heart in it and getting the best result for you, the person who has been the victim of someone else’s negligence. She never rushed, was there to explain everything, and was just a wonderful person to talk to.

From start to finish the DCD Law team did an incredible job. Art initially spoke with me and advised me as to a course of action and recommendations. I am the son of a (retired) estate planning attorney, so I appreciate the importance of having Trusts, Living Wills, Last Wills and Testaments, and Powers of Attorney in place. We have had significant changes to our personal and financial lives (and relocated from California to Florida), so it was really important to update all of these documents.
Chris Smith is both very competent and very easy to work with. His documents are well written and easy for a non-lawyer to understand. I was actually the opposing party on a potential case up against Ms. Ghantous, an unfortunate position to be in.
