When I hired Tim I was looking a serious charges. He did everything to make sure I understood what was going on with my case at all times and when had any questions or concerns I never had a problem getting ahold of Tim. After a very long year we Ultimately went to trial where Tim was amazing and fought for me to be found not guilty on all charges. I was absolutely terrified and blindsided when I received notice that, after the welfare department waived renewal requirements for Medicaid and SNAP benefits in 2020, due to the pandemic- I was being charged with welfare fraud (having not appropriately updated them in writing with my salary change).
I received a form letter about a month later, advertising Attorney Lehman’s experience. Having no idea where else to turn, I called her office. I was fairly skeptical, but after speaking with her, I hired her, based on her calm, matter-of-fact demeanor, and reassurance that she could handle this case.
Although I remained anxious- as we only communicated over the phone and through email a couple times before the preliminary hearing- she more than deserves a 5-star rating.
The result was that I needed to repay the overpayment that welfare had given me, which is completely understandable. But when I’d first been notified of the criminal charges, and offered to repay whatever I wasn’t entitled to, the investigator stated that this wasn’t an option.
It had seemed like a misunderstanding, that occurred during a worldwide emergency, would mean a permanent criminal record, and possibly prison. Attorney Lehman was able to negotiate a dismissal of charges altogether- which I doubt would have happened otherwise. She provided not only legal expertise, but the reassurance and competence throughout this ordeal that was invaluable.

Mr. Hall guided me through every step of my first DWI offense. I didn’t lose my license and didn’t have to go to court. He initiated an alternative to get me in the pre-trial diversion program.

I was referred to Mr. Modafferi by a friend who had previously had excellent results with him. I called his office number, and was told by the peeson who answered the phone, that Mr. Modafferi was not available because he was in court, so left my name and number and asked for him to call me. In situations like this, hoping and waiting for call back is not what you want to do, however, I was pleased to receive a call beack from Mr. Modaferri less than 3 hours later. He was very friendly and seemed to be detail oriented. He then scheduled an appointment the next evening, which was actually after their normal business hours. After going through the facts of my case, he assured me that he would would make my experience as stress free as possible. This was an understatement. Gary was very good about returning my calls, and keep me up to date and informed with what was going on with my case. Gary won my case, and obtained a result that put the issue to rest for good. His rates a very reasonable. I hope that I never need his services again, but if I do, I will go back to him without any second thought. I highly recommend him to anyone.

I never had to hire any type of Attorney before my case and I made a great choice. I found Gary, thanks to Von the computer genius, who told us how amazing he was. I hired William Young & Associates to help with an inattentive driving violation. It was apparent through our conversations that Will knew how to negotiate with the prosecutor to achieve the best outcome. He was willing to fight for what he thought the outcome should be and In my situation was ultimately able to get my charge dismissed. One of the things I liked was that he laid out all of the options for me but gave me the choice of what i wanted to do. He would give me his input and answer any questions. Ughh, what a nightmare my life could have become, if I had not been fortunate enough to find Attorney Dakota Martin. I was wrongfully accused by the state for a crime I did not commit. Attorney Martin was beyond dedicated to ensuring I was not steamrolled by the state by clearly explaining the situation and tirelessly working to expedite a positive outcome in my case. After firing my first attorney who literally took my 10K retainer and advised me to "plead guilty, sell your house and move," boy am I glad I stumbled across Mr. Klein. I didn't know about AVVO at the time, but real client reviews are probably the best way to judge a potential attorney.
By the time I hired Mr. Klein on several convoluted and grossly exaggerated matters that had ballooned out of hand, which included OOP and VOOP, he was able to get the OOP vacated and VOOPs dismissed, which seemed initially like an impossible task, especially since the original attorney bungled the case so badly and several months had elapsed.
In the end, I received court supervision for one separate case, with all others dismissed.
About Mr. Klein's style: He's a great communicator. Available, responsive, patient, and explains things in detail (and many of the details can easily get confusing). Sometimes he gets gruff or short when he is in the middle of fighting hard for your case, so trust that he is placing his energy where it needs to go and will get back to you later to explain the finer details.
A word about pricing: A friend advised me, be wary of attorneys who charge you by the hour, because you can't really know how much time they have actually spent on the case. I found this out the hard way, when my original attorney kept over 3K of my original retainer, after doing pretty much nothing on my cases. Mr. Klein in contrast offered transparent pricing, telling me exactly what his cost was for each matter in full, and additional fees if the case went to bench trial vs. jury trial (it didn't.)
If you have any pending criminal matter and need a great attorney, I unequivocally recommend Steve Klein!

I was facing 10 years in federal prison. With all the evidence stacked against me and my former attorney suggesting that I take a plea…it was Gal who told me that the case could be beat and urged me to fight. I retained JohnPaul to get something expunged from my record. At first he didn’t think that I qualified for expungement, but after some interpretation and reading more into the law, he felt that he had a valid point to argue. Well, he was right.
He argued the point and was able to convince the court. My record is now expunged and a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. JohnPaul is knowledgeable, professional and prompt with communicating.

We had an issue that required us to hire an attorney. This was a first for our family and we reached out to Mr. Ivec. He was professional through the entire process. He explained to us what we should expect and helped us through the entire process.

My daughter found herself in a world of trouble after a New Year's Eve gone terribly wrong. She was arrested and charged with multiple felonies and misdemeanors. After doing searches online, I am beyond grateful we called and Joe Messineo was on the other end. First off I had a warrant for my arrest. I contacted Craig Kadish and hired him to represent me. Within 2 days the warrant was squashed and I had a court date issued.
I allegedly owed $5,000 for damages to the car that was taken. At the first appearance we made a deal that didn't require me to plead guilty, which I was very happy about. At the second and final appearance the plaintiff didn't even show up! I can't promise that Craig will make your plaintiff disappear but he sure made mine!!!!!

I consulted with this attorney, and although I don't think I am the right fit as a client of their firm, I do think I would've came out on top with this gentleman in my corner. We talked for a little over 34 minutes and in that time he shared valuable knowledge about how we could go about this, what the possible outcomes could be, what to expect price wise, and even strategy wise in regards to meeting with his team. He also seemed very upbeat and on the ball with getting all of the relevant information and determining how to utilize it in the most effective ways. I thank you for your time and the service you are providing to our community. He also talked about how their firm is asked by the Bar association to donate and how they attend some government officials yearly parties and such, meaning they are also well connected with these people and work with them regularly. The only reason I couldn't go with this guy (although I wanted to) was the price - and I'm not saying him and his firm aren't worth it, I truly believe they are, but as a ~21 year old (staying vague for privacy) saving up for a car the price he told me was 1/4 of what I received from insurance for my totaled vehicle, and I just couldn't at this time justify that purchase in my head when I am needing other, tangible assets at this time. I was frank with him and more or less told him this, and he tried to assure me it was worth it to not risk losing my freedoms or having this backfire, which I don't disagree with, but again, I can't justify that spending on a single day in court for something I didn't even do... Thanks again to Thomas for teaching out, not only once, but twice after I missed his call and couldn't catch him when I returned it. Maybe someday in the future when I am more financially stable I will utilize your services to the fullest!

He was very well focused on the goal when he was in the court room. My husband was facing a firearms felony charge that could of affected us all including family and friends. From our very first initial meeting ( which was also during the COVID pandemic) I explained to him details of what happened when I was wrongly accused for something and charged for injury to an elderly. I told him I had all my documentation and sent it straight over to his office from that he told me exactly what he was going to do without having to go any further into prolonging the case.
