I just want to say that I’m so grateful with the attorney, taking my case ; his work ethic was amazing not to mention he was there through the entire process. I’m so happy I decided to go with Mr. Barnett. Not once did he try to deceive me on the process of my case. Other lawyers I spoke with made it seem like everything would be done in a month. But Mr. Barnett let me know it would be a process and assured me everything would be fine. I’m very please with the outcome I received. I called Mr. Hirsch recently to ask for help in a potential fraud case. After spending an hour calling one department of the Atlanta police after the other and getting nowhere, I called Mr. Hirsch in desperation. Even though I am the victim of the fraud and Mr. Hirsch is a defense attorney, he seemed to care greatly for my well being and for my predicament. He provided me with a ton of good information and made me feel better about the terrible situation that I have found myself in. He talked with me for over 30 minutes even though he knew he would not be representing me. It is so nice to find a decent and caring attorney who will try to help when you are in a time of need. I hope that I never need his services, but if I ever do find myself in need of legal help for a mistake I made, the first call I will make with be to Matt Hirsch.

Mr. J T Hagans was an absolute miracle in my life. I had gotten into a car accident not too long after my sister had passed away and then shortly after I was diagnosed with a heart condition. When a car hit me, I just went blank and I didn't know where or what to do. I just kept driving which was a wrongdoing on my part. However, not only was he emotionally supportive and understanding, but he was was professional and provided me with knowledge about the law and what I could possibly be facing in terms of fines and fees. He basically broke every single thing down for me. He answered every phone call and email as busy as he was to reassure me that everything would be alright. He guided me throughout the entire process. If there is ANY attorney that I could ever recommend to a person whom is facing a traffic violation of some sort, I would STRONGLY recommend this humble, kind, intelligent and wonderful man. He is trustworthy and honest. I hate to say it but not many attorneys truly conduct their business in this fashion. What struck me most was that it was not so much about the dollar for him. Mr. Hagans TRULY wants and does assist to the best of his ability while educating and keeping you updated throughout the legal process. If there were more than 5 stars to give him, I would. Mr Oberstein was the third attorney to help me with my case and ultimately the most knowledgeable about my specific situation. He did what others said could not be done do to my specific charges. It was a 2 step process that Mr Oberstein had to sort out.
First was the erroneous/incorrect placement by the DOJ. After the creation of the tiered system for 290 registrants I was placed in tier 3 and remained with the requirement of lifetime registration in CA. He was successful in having the DOJ review my case and charges resulting in the correct placement in tier 1. This immediately opened the door to petition the DA for removing my requirement to register. That petition was granted and a huge dark cloud that I created for myself and my family was lifted after 12 years of being 290 registered.
To be honest, the process was slow (particularly to get a response from the DOJ) and I lost confidence several times. Mr Oberstein always answered or returned my calls promptly and assured me that my desired outcome was possible and justified.
I do highly recommend Mr Oberstein especially if you have similar circumstances. Again, he was the only one that had 100% confidence that this was possible.

Tracy gave excellent advice on a number of criminal charges that I had in California forty-six years ago. She instructed me to get a record and she found that I had no convictions except one, which unbeknownst to me, was expunged. This old record came up when I applied for a trusted traveler card. When I had questions, she answered them promptly. Her price was fair. I highly recommend her.

When I had a question about how to get my RN license after waiting 5 months - she answered my questions very promptly! She took time out her weekend to call me and go through all of the steps I have done - THEN she called me back after she did her own research on what might have kept my application with the state held up. She told me to fill out the appropriate paperwork and with ONE WEEK --- I had my license!!! I can't tell you how much I appreciated Tracy taking time out of her weekend with her family to help me! She was AMAZING!

It has been a long road for me for the past 5 years on probation. It was really tough, but with the help and expertise of Dan Greene I was able to survive and successfully completed my probation on May 10, 2020. He did an EXCEPTIONAL and PHENOMENAL job from start to finish. Dan cleared the pathway and guided me properly all the way till the end. He saved me from all my miseries especially with my immigration status as permanent resident that I could be facing deportation if not for Dan. It was really remarkable and turning point in my life and my family. He gave me life and freedom. June 6, 2020 I received an email from Dan informing me that he already filed the petition for dismissal of my case on June 3, 2020. I was so pleased and very happy about it that I did not even have to follow up with him. Everything was just automatic for Dan without me reminding him of anything. Lisa is very knowledgeable and efficient. My case wasn't too complicated ( I had a hearing for a protection order), and she was able to get me in and out of the court room with a successful outcome in a flash. Seriously. I called around to others in the area- having never been arrested, in jail or anything like this before, I didn't know what to expect. The first person I called was rude, he had been practicing DUI cases in Monterey for many years, and I am sure he was knowledgeable, but I didn't trust him the ways I trusted Jamey; right from the start, he was kind and very professional. He seems like a good guy too, a straight-talker who is down to earth, and smart.
Anyhow, that was my initial impression and my gut was right! This was one, if not, the worst thing to ever happen to me. I needed someone to walk me through the journey and I got more than I expected.
So my story – I was knocked out. I was on vacation in Canery Row and parked my car on the street set a 2 hour timer on my phone and went to my favorite restaurant in the area. Time passed, plans changed, and the timer went off, I booked a hotel nearby. As I went to move the rental car one tenth of the mile away, in to valet, something hit the back of my car. I come to learn someone on a skateboard lost control of their skateboard and it hit the back of the rental car. I didn't know what had happened, for all I knew, another car could have hit the back of my car. So I got out to see what happened and a large man came charging at me, I turned around to get back in the car, and that's when I was knocked out. This all happened within seconds of getting out to see if anyone was hurt based off the bang I heard, in the middle of bumper to bumper traffic, on Canery Row.
Minutes later, police and ambulance came, witnesses described that the man had run away. The police officer was a complete jerk, newer on the force(Jamey tells me) – no field sobriety test was given. They arrived when I was on the sidewalk, bleeding and in shock at what happened. Instead of being treated like a victim, I was handcuffed because they smelt whiskey on my breath. I spent the next 48 hours in a holding cell, it was like what I imagine hell to be like, very sad. Since the officer was horrible, he failed to follow correct procedure. Jamey reviewed the body footage and advised the Judge to do so too. Because of this insight Jamey had, the DMV through out the case entirely. Typically, this sort of thing carries 1 year mandatory suspension of license.
I had a BAC of .089, which is right at the bottom of the legal limit. Jamey told me from day one that he would push for me to get a reduction of the charge to a “Wet Reckless”(carries lower fines and not a DUI charge).
One 12 hour class later and approximately $1000 in fines, I have moved on with my life.
Everytime I thought of that evening, I would get irate. I actually have had to stop thinking about it entirely in order to maintain myself and move on in a healthy way. Sometime after the 3rd phone call or so(I have lived in a different state for over a decade), Jamey would encourage me to not allow the things we couldn't change, to effect us today. That wisdom and care from this professional, went a very long way. I needed that perspective, he cared enough about his client to provide it and care for their mental state.
That's what I will think of when I think back to getting knocked out, with no justice and being jailed for 2 days, due to an error I made of parking on the street. The kindness of my attorney, what a great outcome for a miserable period of time.

I had called several lawyers prior to engaging Lewis & Dickstein. They were all awful. They only seemed interested in the money, I was just another number and wouldn't fight for me or my family. My husband happened to come across several reviews on Lewis & Dickstein which prompted us to have a call with them. The call led to an in-person meeting. Once I met Mr. Lewis, I felt instantly comforted knowing he had my back and best intentions at heart and would fight for me. Mr. Lewis exceeded expectations. From the first time I spoke with him he told me "I won't let you down, I won't let anything happen to you"...and indeed, he did not. I was charged with drunk driving with high BAC. It was my first offence. I was beyond scared. I was facing possible jail time, lengthy probation and rigorous alcohol testing. Mr. Lewis guided me every step of the way. Advising on what to do and not what to do. He was always available, and responded to every question and worry I had. He was firm but fair with me, no BS.
The Judge assigned to my case was widely known for her strict stance on DUI. This did not phase Mr. Lewis one bit, he often reiterated "he won't let anything happen to me".
Mr. Lewis was able to negotiate a lower charge of operating while intoxicated, which I plead guilty to. This all happened in a short period of time - it felt like forever - but I was assured this was a quick turnaround.
Days before sentencing, I had a violation by missing one of my three daily test times. I was not aware I missed it. As soon as I was aware I went for a urine test, but was outside the allocated 12 hour time frame. This was terrifying. I had been so diligent throughout the process and to miss one right before sentencing was beyond frightening as I knew this would not look good to the Judge. Mr. Lewis and I may have had a few cross words following this incident, it was all in my best interest, and he continued to fight hard for me.
At sentencing, Mr. Lewis not only had my testing violation dismissed, he miraculously got me NO jail time, NO probation, no therapy or AA. All I had to pay were some fines. This outcome went beyond my husband and my expectations. It was truly unbelievable.
My family and I are eternally grateful to Mr. Lewis! Thank you Randy.

The first thing the Randy Lewis said when we met was"Your in good hands and Ill take care of you" Everything he said was true. He had me feeling much more confident about the case and that we will not just take a plea deal which is what my initial Lawer wanted to do. With only one pre-trial conference Randy was able to bring my charges down from a pretty serious criminal case to a civil infection that equated to a fine and a few points on my license. Faced with a multiple count complaint, I was looking at a possible 20+ year sentence. That, plus my poor health, just about guaranteed I might never see the light of day again. My first impressions of Mr Barone were of confidence, compassion and experience. In short order, Mr Barone had prepared a defensive battle plan for my case. When he presented it to me there was no sugar coating or outrageous promises. He explained his plan and warned me that I would need to be involved.
