Hired Marlo Greer to represent my family and myself after experiencing a car accident resulting in months of rehabilitation and physical therapy. Poor communication and very hard to get ahold of had multiple Paralegals that ussually never knew what was going on which made thing frustrating and left in the unknown. Glad to have everything completed as this was our first time needing legal representation as I will use this bad experience as a learning experience unfortunately. Won't get to deep in it though as she is somewhat nice just seems to have her hands full with "more important cases" Unfortunate experience for sure!

I had high hopes for Ms. Greer based upon her other reviews. I signed up with Ms. Greer in January of 2023, and repeatedly requested that she send out the Demand letters that would start the negotiations of my claims because I didn’t want to treat for the accidents anymore and wanted all of this behind me. Her office was provided with lists of the medical providers I saw and for which accident twice in writing 8-9 months ago and again over the phone in August. A suit was filed on my first case to “preserve the statute of limitations” while some issues were being worked out. The “excess carrier” denied any exposure by saying that the Defendant named in the suit is an excluded driver and Ms. Greer was unable to ascertain as to whether or not the exclusion indeed applies. At certain times during Ms. Greer’s representation of my cases questions that I would ask in the messaging section of the software she uses would not be replied to for days to weeks which caused more lost time while I am already racing a clock. Now that I have one case in litigation with deadlines to meet and the Statute of Limitations for another case she was representing me for is just over nine months away, she has terminated our working relationship. At first she assumed that I did not trust her and instead of asking me outright whether I trusted her or not, she told me to let her office know when I found other counsel and went so far as to recommend another firm. After telling me to find other counsel and suggesting another firm she suggested that we keep a meeting that was scheduled to which I replied that I saw no need for a meeting. It was not made clear that she felt we had a misunderstanding and that she wanted to continue to represent me. The aforementioned was then back peddled on and she claimed that I had told her my previous counsel did not intend to assert a lien. When asked during a meeting with her if my former counsel intended to place a lien on my case, I actually said that I was unaware as to whether or not he would assert a lien and that he had been paid out of the portion of my case that he did actually settle. Ms. Greer and my former counsel who I once had a working relationship with have communicated in the past because Ms. Greer told me that my former counselor felt awful about the breakdown of our relationship. Instead of asking him if he intended to assert a lien on the part of my case that she was working on while she was communicating with him, she is now using his intent, in part, to withdraw from my cases at a very compromising time for me. Once I questioned my old counsel, it turned out that Marlo assumed he was asserting a lien. She has also stated that I tried to be an acting paralegal in my case. That’s untrue. What I did was to start pushing to get all of this behind me because I now have a limited disability that has been caused by my accident related injuries. This has all been mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausting to the point that it is highly unlikely that I will pursue the cases at all anymore. Marlo made many assumptions based upon her “suspicions” and added requirements not outlined in her Agreement nine months into our relationship. Ms. Greer has said that I am from FL and understand FL laws, but that we are in CO. After spending 6 years drafting Demand letters in CO on a contract basis it seems that the accident case formula of 1: accident happens unfortunately 2: attorney is contracted 3: injured person treats 4: medical records and bills are gathered 5: demand letter is drafted 6: demand letter is sent to the insurance adjuster 7: negotiations begin 8: settlement is reached is the same. That is how the cookie usually crumbles. The key difference I see in Florida and Colorado cases is the speed at which firms operate in each State respectively. I had a severe car accident in 2014. I did not want to get an attorney, but after about 3 years of doctors trying to convince me to speak to an attorney, a neurologist changed my mind. He told me that an attorney would be able to help me get medical care that most people would not think about. My chiropractor told me about Marlo. I am so thankful for their recommendation.
Marlo helped me in many ways that I can’t list them all. She dealt with insurance and more importantly, the opposing council. Marlo helped me to understand what was important and what was not. Most importantly, Marlo helped me to get medical assessments and care that I needed.
I used the medical records in my Army Medical Board packet. I received 70% Army and 100% VA disability ratings.
Marlo made certain that I received enough in my settlement that I can retire early and spend quality time with my family.

My brother was the victim of a drunk driver his femur bone snapped in half I regret recommending these people he only got $50,000 back thats how much they got him back for a broken femur bone the biggest bone in the body.
If you notice all the real reviews are posting numbers and what they got back and didn’t get back. All the fake reviews are about the same length and sentencing. And none of them are speaking numbers it should be illegal to post fake reviews. These people are the worst.

My husband had a work discrimination case he consulted with John Beasley's law office about. It did not get picked up by John, but not only that, there was not a good reason provided. (note: we had no problem getting another excellent lawyer to take it on, go figure). I also wanted to add that John's paralegal was not very professional and borderline plain unfriendly. I would definitely not consult with this lawyer's office again.

With a house full of drivers, I've had experiences with other attorneys who have fought traffic tickets for me. Most simply negotiate the points and fines with the district attorney.
Anthony Giustino went the extra mile. He filed a motion that challenged the ticket's validity. He won. My ticket was dismissed. No fine. No points. His fee was far less than any conviction would have cost.

Definitely would not recommend using Judge Amy Pellman for mediation services. She was incredibly biased from the start and made an unprofessional comment within 10 minutes of the session starting. Should’ve ended it there instead of wasting an entire day making zero progress on any kind of settlement. She was only interested in assisting one side on their goals, and did not advocate for me on any points. She might’ve been a great judge but clearly needs some more experience in mediation, where the purpose is to try and reach an agreement between both parties- not decide who she thinks is right and pursue their interests only. We hired another mediator after this failed session and had immediate success with them.

They got in touch about my case quickly which was great, but the intake counselor (as sweet and helpful as she was) did not seem well prepared to discuss my case and the paralegal I spoke to seemed to become adversarial and dismissive through the course of our conversation. She complained about how much time our call had taken and kept laughing as she told me repeatedly that the attorney most likely wouldn't read all of my documentation before making a decision about whether to take my case. I found this behavior shocking and aggressive and declined to continue pursuing representation from this firm

We contacted Washington Law Offices to handle an issue of inhabitability due to a pest infestation issue. Attorney Washington was responsive, compassionate and keenly aware of our legal rights in this situation under Illinois law. After assessing the situation, she drafted a demand letter within days and positioned us to successfully move out without any legal repercussion or retaliation from the property management company. I hired Greg Owens for my Workerman Comp Case; although he was personable; he didn’t do right by me. The Attorney for the Insurance Company talked him into taking out taxes from my Settlement amount; and it wasn’t until after the fact that I learned that Settlements are Tax-
Free. So basically; due to Greg Owen’s lack of knowledge; I lost money I should’ve had in my pocket. When I called him to get a response; he told his assistant to tell me to go and hire a CPA? Thanks Greg!
I wouldn’t recommend Greg for anytime of Workerman’s Comp or Unemployment case.

I retained Mr. Owens recently and we are only in the beginning stages of my case. In the few weeks we've been working together he has gone above and beyond to respond to my emails and reach out to me with updates. Being in the legal profession myself, you often do not find an extremely responsive attorney that takes their "off the clock" time to respond and reach out. I'm extremely impressed with his responsiveness and compassion. I definitely felt extremely comfortable moving forward with Mr. Owens and I know he'll work hard to advocate for me as he has already done so.
I definitely recommend Mr. Owens as you would not be dissatisfied. Nothing is a guarantee; however knowing your attorney is hard at work for you that in itself is a win.

Do not go near this woman! She is a disaster! Dropped me like a hot box of rocks when she got pregnant. Lied about progress. Failed to communicate. Ignored me for three months. My employer "eliminated my position" when I took a FMLA approved leave in October 2017. I interviewed several attorneys and selected KC to handle my case.

I was initially referred to Z Wang & Associates in 2013 by a friend of mine. My parents met with Zhidong Wang when he traveled back to China in 2013–2014, and we decided to start the EB-5 process with Z Wang & Associates as our immigration attorneys. We first filed the I-526 in September 2015 and received approval in September 2016. We filed the I-485 in April 2020 and had it approved in July 2022. In May 2024, we filed the I-829 and received approval in December 2024. We are glad that, after this 9-year wait, we have finally completed the entire EB-5 process and had our conditions removed.
Over the years, we worked with Dora Zang, Jamie Hossa, Jeff Cheng, and Zhidong Wang, who were always able to answer our questions whenever we needed help. We truly appreciate their time and assistance over the past nine years! We will contact them again for the N-400 process and any future green card applications for my parents.

I was unfairly terminated from my previous employer due to a disability and Mr. Kirby did a phenomenal job from beginning to end. He took my case despite my previous employer's clout in the community and was open with me about how their reputation may affect the process and the outcome.
Mr. Kirby was thorough, diligent, and I greatly appreciated his patience with me as I was still reeling from my termination. It was obvious from the beginning that he cared not just about winning, but he was also angry on my behalf for how I was treated. He explained the legal process in a way I could understand so that I could make informed decisions. As Mr. Kirby explained, he was my lawyer, so he wanted me to direct the decision-making.
Mr. Kirby seemed to have great relationships within the local legal community. He was also always on top of deadlines and often wanted to get paperwork filed well before the deadline.
Finally, I don't know if I would have made it through that time of my life in one piece if it hadn't been for his encouragement and his excellence and genuine care in dealing with my case.
