Chris is a great guy and incredibly knowledgeable with regards to employment and labor law. His follow-through and responsiveness needs significant improvement. While I was happy with my initial result, I was unable to complete the lose ends of my case with him as he was very slow to respond and never followed through with my requests.

Fraud! Was awarded a 22K settlement and received fraudulent paperwork claiming Epstein credits of 21K to my ex. The law firm stole 21K. For this you will be disbarred and indicted. Contacted the ex and she said she sent a check to the attorney for 22K. I do not endorse this law firm for anyone seeking legal services. Contacting the California Bar first thing Monday. The State of Michigan Unemployment agency wanted me to pay back the unemployment funds I received during the pandemic. Within 2 hours of making an appointment through the office, Manda was already on the case, texting questions to me and asking for paperwork. You have to be very careful about hiring this attorney. Your case will not get the full attention that it needs. You will have to check every thing he does including the spelling. He mixes up previous cases with yours. I had a case dismissed due to him not replying in time. Please do your homework and fully check this guy out. I do not want anyone to go through what I had to go through.

I would recommend to avoid using this attorney if at all possible. I was represented by Joshua Burt in a case against AT&T. When engaging the services of the attorney I signed a retainer agreement which clearly stated that he would have errors & omissions insurance (malpractice insurance).
After the conclusion of the litigation I contacted Joshua to inquire about his insurance provider. Joshua told me that he did not obtain the contractually agreed to insurance. When I learned that Joshua did not adhere to the contract I contacted the California State Bar to inform them of the breach.
The California State Bar informed me that Joshua was going through a personal financial crisis and as a cost savings decided to not purchase insurance.
Also during settlement negotiations I requested for Joshua to withdraw as my attorney and dismiss the case. Joshua continued negotiating after my request for withdrawal. It would appear the Joshua's personal financial crisis motivated him to disregard my request for withdrawal and to engage in bad faith negotiations in order to obtain a quick settlement which contained in illegal waiver of rights pursuant to Business & Professions Code 16600.
This is truly disappointing because Joshua does seem to have a great deal of knowledge of the law.

Told me a corporation could actually unethically and unfairly to their employees. She also told me corporations could actually lie and falsify information in an investigation. I was told that the corporation could say they will investigate and not actually investigate.
For her, if it's not discrimination, retaliation etc. (the more substantial suits) she avoids it.

I contacted Attorney Pamela Branch to speak with her about a potential wrongful termination lawsuit that I am considering and that could possibly go to the federal courts. Mr Green was the prosecuting attorney against my husband for a case in which the jury found unanimously in our favor. Shame on Green that he takes cases that should never be pursued and that people’s lives are upended needlessly. Green himself caused two mistrials by passing out, once during jury selection and once during trial. Greens’s own expert witness agreed that everything was within the standard of care. We are still wondering how Green thought he had a case.
Please google Harrison Green, Ohio Supreme Court for why he had his license suspended temporarily and what he was indicted for.

From the first day I spoke with Ms. Savoy she was nothing but truthful and honest with me. When it came to me telling her what I wanted, she was upfront and told me it would be a battle, but she had no doubt in her mind, that we would prevail. When it came to my custody battle, she was nothing but attentive and fighting for everything that was in me and my son's best interest. Ms. Savoy heard me out and understood exactly what I wanted and made it happen! Couldn't get past intake. Sensitive info. "Know it all assistant" answering person that suprisingly falsely claim to be knowledgeable yet lnot understand Michigan law when reffering ro statue of limitations.
Furthermore they demanded case info without the safety of discretion and was very condoncending.
I also studied enough law and business long enough to know when i spend the amount lf money i am. Only speaking to an attorney and then who that person endorses to cover specifics, is the ONLY method i take.

Around mid July of 2023, I had met with Gene Adkins from Hitchcock Law PLLC to formally sign the appropriate papers to be filed with the courts to establish my deceased grandmothers estate. Up until this point, all interactions with Gene and Hitchcock Law were timely and professional with no cause for concern. Approximately one week later 6/26/2023 Hitchcock Law deposited the $2,000 retainer check as requested and discussed during our initial in person meeting. Since sending payment to Hitchcock Law, the estate papers were filed with the court but quickly rejected due to an oversight from Gene which took place on 7/12/2023. It was not until 8/12/2023 that I had reached out for an update to be informed that there was an issue and new papers needed to be submitted; no communication on behalf of Gene or Hitchcock Law. Since then, I was told new e-sign documents would be sent over to make the requested corrections, and two months have since passed and there has been absolutely no progress. ZERO communication has been initiated by Hitchcock Law in regards to these concerns. $2,000 dollars and almost 6 moths later I am still at ground zero; a complete waste of time.

A paralegal (S. M.) working w. Mr. Winfrey asked me to send her my numerous documents & recordings to review for an employment issue - she strung me along for 4 months before sending me a letter 4 days before my first meeting w. the EEOC & Defendant that they were not taking my case. This may constitute malpractice & is the worst responsive I have ever received. Reputable attorneys respond within 1-2 days or a week whether they will take a case. In the declination letter (copied Mr. Winfrey) the paralegal made a bold untrue statement: "after a thorough review of your case...." They did not conduct any, let alone a thorough review that they purported to have condcuted - I verified this because I sent my docs. via Dropbox which sends a notice when my files have been accessed. Shame on you for costing me nearly $100,000 in severance and leaving me in a lurch w. no time to search find a lawyer. I will seek the lost funds from Morgan & Morgan. This has caused great distress and financial hardship to me at a time when I cannot recover. I also left voicemails for Mr. Winfrey and he never returned any of them, also, poor practice. For the largest purported firm (M&M), do they not have other paralegals to respond.

Mr. Pitts-Wiley accepted my case despite the fact that he only had two weeks to prepare and go before AJ. I thought my case was a sure win, because of the facts and evidence presented during EEO investigation. So I didn't think I needed a lawyer.
Due to experience and expertise in Federal law, more specifically whistleblower retaliation and wrongful termination, Mr. Pitts-Wiley advised against an EEO appeal. He has genuine concern and care for me as his client. He has been my voice of reason and logic and prevented me from making decisions and choices based on my emotional state that would have resulted in a significant amount of additional unnecessary lawyer fees. I was mad at first because I wanted what I wanted. He was quite clear and a matter of fact that what I WANTED was not in my best interests at that time.... It validates my rating of excellent because he was doing what was in my best interest emotionally as well as financially. He could have filed an initial appeal and padded his pockets based on my emotional state. But he went above and beyond to fully explain why an appeal would not be advantageous at THAT TIME. While waiting for my Agency to make a decision on my proposed removal Mr. Pitts-Wiley would check in to see how I was doing. This speaks volumes and further validates my 5 star rating. Two years later.... Mr. Pitts-Wiley's knowledge, professionalism, experience and dedication is beyond reproach. I've never felt so confident about my case than I do Now... two years later. It is more than evident that he was a God send and that having him and his team represent was the best decision ever. He has been extremely transparent regarding the possible outcomes, however just based on his actions in what I would consider minute details is proving to monumental in my case. His level of transparency, professionalism, dedication and compassion, makes me want to go back to school so I can help others as he and his team has guided me through this process! I'm excited for the outcome.

Alicia is excellent. Her communication is concise, while offering empathy and patience hearing out any questions or concerns as they may arise. While representing me an unfair Labor practice against the Union and companies of the Union she failed to do simple legal research of unfair labor practices. After I discovered a multitude of unfair Labor practice laws that prohibited the companies and the Union of the treatment that they have done to me she refused to amend my complaint. As I constantly try to speak with her about the issue she became closed off and very combative. Unfair Labor practice laws the only took me less than 5 minutes to discover was laws that she never discovered on her own which leads me to believe she did absolutely zero research on my case. Not only that but it's unfair Labor practice laws that in my case cannot be debated by the defendant side. Unfair Labor practice laws like the violation of the Beck Act, Weingardener Act, Total Security under NLRB, and many more. Which we would have been able to prove without a reasonable doubt I did not receive as a union member and my case would be one. It also would prove the violation of the duty of representation of the Union itself in the union participation in the discriminatory practices that constitutes as unfair Labor practice it automatically entitles me to full back pay, front pay and punitive damages. Instead this lawyer refused to amend the original complaint which spoke nothing on the violation of unfair labor practices which was the exact reason that we were in court. Then this lawyer turned around and motion to be removed from my case because she was absolutely combative with a man in the complaint and adding the right case laws that was undeniable in the matter. And then she demands thousands of dollars in retribution after she failed to represent me correctly and properly research angles to win my case. This lawyer is a scam artist that makes poor financially disabled people sign a bogus contract agreement to secure her representation that's access for a high interest on the case when won. Knowing that the people calling is in desperate need she acts as a wolf and sheep clothing only communicating to rob the disenfranchised. Do you like knowledge of cases that she agree to join, well at least in my case. Then she does not put in the effort to properly defend the vulnerable worker that suffered the Injustice from their employer. I would not recommend this lawyer to my worst enemy. The laws that I've mentioned within this review I had to find on my own and once I tried to present the laws and help her out because she told me if I want my complaint amended I will have to find a different attorney. If you are someone with a strong case and financially disabled I would warn you not to take this road because in my experience it would not lead to the success in the case that would be deemed appropriate. It was absolutely a terrible experience and journey. So this attorney gets zero Stars and anyone that is bold enough to challenge my review here and seek to find out for themselves all I can do is pray for you and your family. My sincere's testimony from only my personal standpoint from my personal experience with this attorney. She will expect for you to pay her thousands of dollars even when she asked the courts to remove her from your case because she refuses to make corrections which is necessary for the greater good to your claims. Again I say this only for my personal experience, you have been warned.

Michelle doesn’t practice what she preaches. She doesn’t know how to represent boards, she discriminated against me, she lied to me and breached her fiduciary duty in an effort to secure a bigger pay day for herself. She is a second rate hack and be prepared if you hire her to file a grievance. It’s also Jackson Lewis provided no oversight. Totally avoid at all costs, too unprofessional to ever spend money on.

As the Sr. VP/HR, I worked with Michelle Phillips for over 10 years. She did all the non-harassment trainings for all levels of staff and for multiple office locations. She was engaging and staff all gave her her 2 hour mandatory sessions 5 star reviews. As a result we did not have harassment issues within our 200+ very diverse staff. She also provided excellent advice on related employment questions.

To answer: I was never given the option to become a client of your firm.
Your offices reviewed my matter and declined to represent me.
I don't have a problem with this, but what does bother me (and the reason for my 1 star review) is that your attorney didn't even offer a cursory explanation of why he declined to represent me. He simply had his secretary call and tell me that he wouldn't pursue the matter.
It's a lack of basic professionalism, and bothered me enough to rate your firm 1 star.

I hired John Pihno , possibly the worst communication process , I’ve been dealing with this office for a year and never met my lawyer , couldn’t get him on the phone his assistant Suzette never responded back to emails or calls . I felt like I was constantly chasing them . A lot of the things that happens during my case as , surgically etc. would have never happened unless I pushed and of course these people want a piece of your check when it’s all over . We did a project which included several change orders asked for by the Hicks at his residence . Mr. Hicks, a partner at this law firm , acted very unprofessional, his wife actually contacted my employees via text causing tortious interference with our contracts. While completing his contracts, we found his soil was sub par and full of clay and needed to be remediated. He and his wife practically had temper tantrums causing for an unbelievably unsuitable work environment at his home. Even with their attempts to cause harm to me and my company, we competed the contract. A year later, he claimed that some of the brick pavers moved, I explained to him that he refused to pay to remedy the soil situation and therefore it was not covered by our warranty. He proceeded to use his law degree to sue us, he filed suit for over $24,000.00 which included almost $12,000.00 in new landscaping which was not part of my contract. While delivering the discovery to his house, the driveway which he claimed to have been removed and reinstalled in his lawsuit had the same pavers sinking in the same spot a year after they were supposedly replaced.. if this partnership allows attorneys like this, who use their law license to try to steal from hard working contractors then I would say run away from this firm. They support disgraceful behavior like this from their partners! We just recently went to binding arbitration. The arbiter threw out 99% of his case and awarded him $2300.00, one tenth of what he was fraudulently suing me and my company for!

Not a trial attorney. Brags about having the "eye of tiger" and going to trial, then simultaneously brags about being a "mediator", when he's supposed to be an attorney. A plaintiff hires an attorney to obtain the best result, recovery and punishment on the defendant to fit the defendant crime. With Greg Stone, he walked me into an unconscionable settlement agreement with a criminal defendant including a literal violation of my constitutional rights to remove facts about the defendant from the internet. Just goes to show you that all attorneys are lazy.
