The first time I spoke with Joni I was impressed by her expertise and also her ability to really listen. Initially, Joni made sure that I had realistic expectations by telling me the percentage of applicants who are approved, the worst-case scenario time-wise, etc. She is a very clear communicator, was really patient when I didn't understand something about my case, and was responsive when I called or emailed her with questions or concerns. I'm very aware that quality of professionals in any field varies, but I knew that with Jonie I was in good hands. She was always on top of the developments in my case and kept me up to date. The Social Security Disability process is extremely difficult, confusing and frustrating. We srtruggled for the first few years, not knowing what to do or where to turn. By the time we contacted Maria Riddle, we had been denied and broken financially. Maria took charge, put us in touch with exceptional doctors and specialists, walked us through the disability process and made the experience way less horrible. There were times Alicia, her assistant and I just talked.. she knew how hard it was for us to go through this process and showed extrteme compassion every time we corresponded. When children are involved - especially when the safety and care of those children - it is a challenge for a loving parent to see anything but red. Amy's calm guidance and understanding of process, law and advocacy has been incredible.
I'll add that while some attorneys seek frivolous actions or motions to pad their fees, Amy's careful stewardship of not only the individual but the funds which go to support the children in question is commendable.

I hired Daniel McMurtry to represent me for an extremely difficult SS disability case. There were many, many physicians involved (over 30), and I presented with multiple diagnoses. Due to the severity of the case, it lasted almost two years, and eventually had to be settled in court. While this was a very depressing time for me, Dan was always available. However, what really speak volumes about Dan is his knowledge and competency in the court room. He was prepared for any situation and conducted himself as a professional at all times. Since the first time I spoke with Brandon I knew he was the right one. Even tho I still received many many calls from other lawyers I knew I already had the right choice. I suffered a knee injury at work 4/2018. Over a period of months my knee weakened & I was told by my doctor, I needed a replacement. My employer disagreed. I had no idea on how worker’s compensation worked.
I sent the same email to 7 attorneys. Only one responded-Jeff. My email was full of dates & names of who was told what & when. It also contained my employers responses. Jeff said the detail & amount of information in my initial email made my case. Jeff walked me through the process.
After the first hearing establishing my case, my employer denied my claim.
Jeff told me exactly how to respond & what to fill out. He was caring & patient. He returned calls & responded quickly to email. He Took time to call & explain what forms were coming in the mail & what they meant.
It took a couple hearings & an IME to authorize my claim & get my knee replaced. Jeff was there the entire time. He was patient & explained everything along the way.
I will tell everyone who needs a worker’s compensation attorney to call Jeff. He is just a nice, humble & honest guy. He made this ordeal far less stressful & easier to understand. In short, he’s awesome. If you’re new to the system & need a beacon, let Jeff be that light.

When I became disabled I started my claim with the Social Security Administration, I filled out and submitted all the forms and of course was denied benefits. I haven't heard of any first time approvals personally except one. One day I ran into an old acquaintance, he was disabled at this point and had already begun receiving benefits. I explained my situation to him, and he said I should have already had a lawyer. He said I could never have gotten my disability benefit approval without a lawyer named Ben Johnson in Athens, he did a great job for me. I contacted Ben the next week and if I had not contacted Ben for help with my case, it would have long been over because the steps that came after the initial denial, appeal and hearing, my wife and I would have had no clue how to go any further or even that you could. Ben is very knowledgeable and didn't spare any of his knowledge on my case. He didn't wait until something came to him requesting information, he and his assistants were always one step ahead in getting any information they could think of that could be advantageous for my case. Ben and his assistants have been courteous and very helpful from the start. It took a long time, through no fault of Mr. Johnson, but he was able to get my benefits approved and I bless the day I met him.

No one expects sickness to come. My father was hospitalized and unable to make sound decisions for himself. After a consultation with Mr. Bolves, I was able to obatin the propoer paperwork that would allow me to ensure proper care for my father.

Approximately 2 years ago I was involved in an automobile accident which left me with buldging discs. I was experiencing severe physical pain , especially in my lower back. Mr. Casciano called me in response to an email inquiry regarding difficulty in obtaining a decision regarding our adult daughter's disability determination after about 8 months. After listening to my story and asking follow up questions, he said that we were on the right road, and gave some specifics on my follow up with SS. He said that we did not need to hire him at this point, and he did not want to take our money for no reason. I followed Mr. Casciano's suggestions, and about 8 weeks later we received the determination that our daughter is disabled and not capable of working.

David handeled an auto accident where my husband was very badly injured and the other driver killed.
