First time homebuyer here. Always have heard that closing on a home took a while. Not with Chris! My fiancée and I had a wonderful experience and Chris was quite entertaining. I obviously was a little nervous because I have had no experience with this prior, but he made the process comfortable and smooth for us. I hope whenever it comes time to buy another home, we get to close here!

As a mortgage broker in the SC, I have recommended Chris to my clients on many occasions since 2004. HIs staff is the best in the upstate and my clients love the experience. They are always quick to respond and get all my loans closed on time with no drama. Chris has also done my personal loan closings as well, and they have all gone very smoothly. You do not receive multiple "Best of the Upstate" awards without a strong emphasis on customer service and Chris and his knowledgeable staff always deliver exceptional service.

The day of closing was great, but trying to reach someone after you close is impossible. Left a voicemail with Amy, emailed Amanda twice and Tyler once - no response from anyone! Finally had to call the office and got Ed who was helpful, but everyone else wasn’t. If I knew the customer service was going to be like this after closing I would've found someone else.

Not my usual real estate area of the Upstate, but loved how responsive the staff was and Chris was thorough and hugely entertaining!!! Great closing :)
