We were very nervous about doing this transaction from out of state with someone we had no idea about. Scott's video call to us put us at ease. His team was more than helpful in every way in guiding us through South Carolina's way of doing transactions. We flew in to do our closing in person and felt like we had known them for years when we arrived. We can not say enough good things about him and Patti. We look forward to seeing them when we move here year round.

I recently moved from Ohio to SC. After purchasing a condo, my realtor suggested I use Scott Umstead for my closing attorney. The office was very welcoming and emailed me every step of the way. I had a slight glitch in my financing wire transfer before closing and Debbie Rose went above and beyond helping me to get it resolved. On closing day, Scott explained everything before I signed it. I highly recommend Scott Umstead and his wonderful team.

Scott was very effective, and served our interests well. The office is gorgeous, and the staff treated us like celebrities. Our transaction was handled quickly and efficiently, while still ensuring that all of our questions were answered. Scott did the closing for the sale of house and the purchase of our new house. He was amazing! He was super efficient and fast in the closing process. His sweet dog was an extra bonus as we signed. He was so sweet and just laid there patiently waiting for us to finish and pet him! His office was super modern and cozy. We definitley recommend him!!
