O my god I’m so happy SLAV help me he’s so Nice and professional I’m happy he’s represent me . After five years was filing my divorce’ plus I had two attorneys wich was bad and lier Why cause I’m women ,thats why they take advantage on that . after finish pay all they don’t answer my Mail and my phone calls plus they didn’t do nothing likes nothing on my case .now I’m just cant believe its done . In 2014 I hired Brian Walters to represent me in a custody case. The divorce decree was amended in several areas that significantly benefited my visitation and parental rights. Jake and I went to law school together, so naturally when I started the divorce process myself, he came to mind. I couldn’t be happier with him and his entire firm. What was supposed to be an easy, uncontested divorce has turned in to an extremely difficult case with many additional filings and negotiations necessary to protect myself and my children. Jake is extremely responsive and has guided me in appropriate decision making which has left me in a much better position than I would have if I had decided to represent myself (don’t do that!). I couldn’t recommend Jake and his firm more highly. Best family lawyer in Austin!

5 stars doesn't do Slav Talavera any justice. I've been embroiled in a bitter and complicated family law case for 4 years to which Slav guided me through the entire process when I hired him 6 months ago when no other attorney could. He was extremely patient, compassionate and fought for me with conviction. I finally get as though someone was fighting for me and in a family law case, that is what you need. He managed my expectations through and through and I could not be happier. He's simply the best.

Jake did a good job representing me on several occasions.

Slav Talavera is an amazing lawyer. He speaks 4 languages and knows his stuff. Slav just won my custody modification case and was able to get me more than I was expecting. This is who you want in your corner!

As a professional Athlete I needed someone that would be on my case. Jake started off really well but towards the end dropped the ball many times. Including forgetting about my case. Moved offices without notifying me twice. As he was switching offices it did seem like he was a bit disorganized. He was not the best at updating or replying to emails and I have many emails which were not replied to. There was paper work that was not properly filed which delayed my case significantly (almost 3 years) I ended up switching Lawyers and had a much better result in 1/10th of the time. I would not hire him again. RE: After two lost child support checks that I took personally hand delivered to Mr. Gilbreath's office at his direction. I started to receive letters from the Attorney general which were promptly forwarded to Mr. Gilbreath and his office, however there was no response to this and other pressing emails regarding possible garnishing until yes, my accounts were garnished. Good thing there is always email proof. This was just my experience. Not to say others will experience the same.
