Jake Gilbreath is a world class lawyer who is smart as hell as well as a very smooth "people person." He takes a disciplined strategic approach and knows how to be tough but fair. He is in it to win it but never throws gasoline on the fire. Understands complex family dynamics and handles sensitive issues with finesse and warmth. His work style is upfront and pragmatic and he stays highly focused. I hired him to help with a difficult custody issue and am thrilled with the outcome. The positive impact on my son's life as a direct result of Jake's expertise will never be forgotten. Jake's team is super professional with great communication skills and fast turnaround times. I felt so lucky to have been referred to Jake Gilbreath while being through such a hard marriage and toxic situation. I was hit very off guard when my husband filed for divorce. There was so much hurt and shock and fear as he quickly hired a successful attorney for fear of how he would be painted. The very first time I spoke to Jake, he eased my panic and treated me like a friend yet remained professional and direct. He seemed to truly care right off the bat and instantly gave me the reassurance that no matter what, he would help me through it and it would be ok. 0ne of the things I respected most about Jake was the honesty that he always conveyed to me. At times, during a difficult time, it is hard to hear some of the possibilities of the outcome of any divorce. I felt Jake gave me worst case scenarios to prepare me, yet came through to truly show me he knew his stuff and was one step ahead. He gave me very sound advice and never took on more than what he knew would work out for me. There was a time when I had to decide how far I wanted to take things by going to court. I so appreciated him being able to predict the outcomes based on his experience and offer me a different idea... which was to settle and move on with life! I can't thank him enough for pushing me in this direction. He did still play hard ball when appropriate and Jordan and his staff were wonderful communicators. Divorce is such a vulnerable time. I never doubted being in good hands. Jake is sharp, and honest and upfront when needed. I would absolutely recommend him to someone going through the same thing. I need to also comment about how respectful he is to women and how pro- female he is while not being in any way obnoxious, opinionated or tacky. He simply knows how to help when the trauma of divorce is dealt. I am so thankful that my children were the first concern and Jake, being a family Man, doesn't like Men who are hateful to Women.

Jake is amazing. His focus is on creating healthy co-parenting dynamics for the kids. Even if the other party is making it difficult, Jake is an expert at maintaining focus and integrity throughout the games other family attorneys attempt to play. If you have children and it's all about money to you, don't call this guy. He won't put up with you. But if you need help fighting for your legal rights and your children are the top priority- then you shouldn't waste time getting in to see him because no one will work harder for you (or be as honest) than this guy.
