Jimmy and his team are as good as they get. My only regret was not hiring him from the start. Thrilled with the results he got me.

Finding a good lawyer is difficult, but from the moment I walked into Jimmy's office for a consultation, I knew I wanted him to represent me in my divorce. He never let me down throughout the process. Jimmy was always in contact, either by phone or emails, all through the day, and if need be, in the evenings. I knew he (and his wonderful staff) were on my side fighting for me. Going through my divorce was devastating, but knowing I had an excellent attorney like Jimmy made such a difference in easing the strain, stress, and uncertainty of the situation.

If there's a negative star chart, they are -100. Don't even waste your time or penny with them. All they do is make you repeating things and cannot keep up the important dates, and drain the retainer fees. He doesn't care about what his clients' but just wants to brush everything under the carpet. I had a domestic violence case and he acts like nothing ever happened. i have to hired another lawyer in the middle divorce due to his careless and sloopy job. I felt he worked against me. And don't even let them to have a chance to say "hi" to your kiddos; otherwise they will said they "babysit" your kiddos. He's the worest! I had to complained to him to Austin bar and State Bar of Texas due to the lack of work, sloppy jobs and over charging fees. Be aware, there's enough stress of dealing with divorce and you by dealing with them can only cause extra stress.

Jimmy helped when going through a tough time in my life. He was a good voice of reason and helped to keep me calm. I also appreciated that Jimmy seemed genuine and authentic, and was direct with me. It's apparent that Jimmy cares about people, and not just another client. He could have "ran the bill" up on me, but I saw evidence that he didn't. I decided to use him after meeting with several lawyers. I would strongly recommend him.

I started the very painful process of divorce after 22 years of marriage. Things didn't go as planned and out of nowhere I was engulfed in a very high conflicting situation with many moving parts. If you like spending a lot of money and getting nowhere Jimmy’s your man or should I say his firm cause I never actually met jimmy his paralegals told me he’s busy on a big case whenever I made the inquiry he would however call me to confirm I need to replenish funds and feed my girlfriend a bunch of lies that he or his firm never followed through with my girlfriend is going to post her itemized bill he sent her just show how petty this guy is if you give him any retainer no matter what his firm does in court he will literally bill you for everything under the sun just to use up the money they don’t care about the client they only care about bleeding your pocket when we started my girlfriend had 50/50 custody 7000$ later it’s still 50/50 and no one word of getting custody we literally could have just left it alone and cause nothing changed other then jimmy lied to squeeze me for 7k so I tip my hat to him I’ve seen a lot of scam artists and always felt confident nobody would ever scam on me but gotta give it to dude he uses his law degree to persuade you to give up all that money not saying 7k is enough to take care of a custody battle or a divorce but 7k is enough to see progress instead we’re right where we started but do keep a eye out so y’all can see his awesome itemized bill it’s almost laughable

We had a complicated situation with continuing Jurisdiction for visitation and parenting agreements in 2 states, with one parent residing in a 3rd state when we werjavascript:void(0);e relocated to Texas. Evans Family Law group helped us get the Parenting and Visitation agreement transferred and filed in Texas after a lengthy process. The result was the best possible outcome we could have hoped for, especially given the complicated nature of the situation at the beginning of the process. They are very knowledgeable in Texas and Federal family law, we highly recommend them for any situation. They will listen to you and help you achieve the best outcome for your children.

I just completed a four year divorce in Bastrop County. It was supposed to be an easy, agreed upon, no drama divorce. Unfortunately, jurisdictions changed twice, opposing counsel three times, and tons of discovery. The Evans Family Law Group was ready for every challenge presented by my case. The case was eventually resolved in mediation. My attorney is Julio De La Llata. He is excellent and you want him if you can get him. Other attorneys were asking for his advise on their cases while he was working on mine. The entire staff was professional and knowledgeable. My only knock is that sometimes they can be a little too professional when all you really need is reassurance. I guess thats not really a criticism. Good luck with your case.

They said first consultation is free. When i showed up at my appointment Evan said I am busy so I am gonna have you talk to my assistant attorney. She was extremely rude and gave me a lot of attitude. She talked to me for 30 minutes and charged me $167. They are not helpful and zero customer service quality.
