Shirley was recommended to me by a colleague in the special-needs / disability field who stated that "She is one person who truly cares about the welfare of her clients". My own experience reinforces that statement. I retained her services for my 60 year old disabled uncle who was in desperate need of medical insurance. Though a patently difficult situation from the outset, she accepted the case and ultimately secured his SSI & Medicaid. Unfortunately, I was arrested in February 2019, and I feared losing my nursing license. I did not even renew my license in July 2019. At the behest of my counselor, I sought legal counsel at the beginning of 2020. I found Mr. Dest online and set up a consultation. He has helped me with two incidents in the last three years, and I have not had any investigation from the Texas BON. My life is back on track, and I am still nursing, thanks to Mr. Dest.

Had a pretty standard question regarding a landlord/tenant matter, I was surprised how quickly I was able to get through and speak with the attorney. Ryan not only answered my questions but actually took it a step further and gave me the exact statutes which directly related to the matter I was dealing with. Most attorneys would charge a fee for this. Ryan was super friendly and fortunately for me after my consult I will no longer need an attorney because I was able to get all the information I needed, however if I need an attorney in the future for any reason and Ryan can represent me I will 100% hire him. P.S. all previous attorneys I tried speaking with gave me either misleading information, wanted a fee, or I spoke with an intake/paralegal that was clueless. Ryan’s the real deal!

Excellent attorney with very reasonable rates. Very response with great communication skills. I was involved in a commercial tenant-landlord dispute with a contract that was extremely landlord friendly, Attorney Zapalac helped me review my lease and guided me every step of the way in negotiating with the landlord for better terms. We ended up successfully terminate the lease and that took a huge load off of my back. Looking back could not have done it without him. Truly appreciate his help and highly recommend him..

I met Ryan under stressful and unfortunate circumstances and needed his help with estate planning and a will/power of attorney, etc... when my uncle was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer. Ryan responded to my panicked email late at night and worked through the weekend to help my family get their affairs in order.
