When the Board of Nursing contacted me about a patient complaint, I had many different thoughts run through my head. I’ve been in healthcare since 1994- always taking pride in the care I give to patients and families. The board requests appear simple enough, but seeking legal advise and securing representation was the best decision in my professional career. The prompt attention from the office staff in getting me in touch with Mr. Dest for an initial consultation- professionalism exemplified! Mr Dest not only listened patiently, but was empathetic to the mixed emotions I was feeling. Shirley Vu is an amazing lawyer who just won my case. Her firm is so on point. Every time something had to be done they were on top of it! I do not understand how anyone navigates the disability process without a lawyer. There were so many things i wouldn't have understood or knew to do if I didn't have this lawyer.If I contact them they are always available or able to respond quickly.
