They were at eviction court and gave me some knowledge on tenets rights. I use that handbook that they gave against my apartment complex because we had been two weeks with out hot water. I pay child support they have helped me with that. Overall they are good once you get a hold to someone

I am so saddened, and disappointed with legal aid. I've been trying to get assistance for 5/6 months now. I've spoke to an attorney followed instructions, turns out to be incorrect. Spoke to supervisor via phone and email filed complaint. I still have not received a response, call, letter anything from them. I was told I qualified for the service. I just can't receive any of there service and all I want to do is get assistance getting my daughter back that was stolen from me. Anyhow I pray the workers are all well in this messed up world right now and everyone has happy holidays mine won't be so much but blessed to be alive and with my other 2.💞

It's closed due to Covid

They made sure they walked through every process with you. There was no confusion on what was to be done. Although, it was kind of hard to get the receptionist to help me in the beginning. But once I got the process started, it went very quickly.

No answer or call back.

I had a similar exp to many here except due to Covid they are working remotely. Called dozens of times phone never answered multiple message left. And I had an emergency situ per their own criteria. It says you can apply online but when on next to last page it gives an error message. Even went to office downtown no luck. So weeks later they v finally return call. My situ was split into 3 cases and the initial evals were scheduled over another week or 2. The most important, appealing unemp denial was the most distant. When finally arrived it seemed they'd already made up their minds not to help. Now my appeal hearing is just a few days away and I have no help or time to find another and I'll prob loose 12+ weeks of back pay. The reason I gave them 2 stars is because I did get an attorney to help with the 2 lesser cases. [
