You can trust them. They are very good at what they do. I was encouraged to apply for disability, and did so on my own, but I was turned down. I was in a deep dark place, depressed, and feeling hopeless when I found CCK. It took them a couple of months to get back with me. I had given up when the phone call came. They said they wanted to try to help me if they could. If you ain't got nothin', you ain't got nothin' to lose. It took them several years and I went through several appeals. But I finally got the relief I so badly needed. The first round came when I found myself thinking they had probably given up on my case. But no, they never did. I couldn't have done it without them. They know what they are doing and they know how to navigate the system. Be patient. They will help you. These things take time. CCK is the real meal deal. The only thing that would have made my life easier during the process would have been phone call every month or two to let me know they had not given up on me or my case, so I didn't have to worry so much. It is hard not to wonder if your case is hopelessly lost and you're never going to be helped. Just keep in mind that no news is good news. And eventually it might be very good news. CCK knows how to get results!!! Be patient. Don't freak out on them because it takes a long time. I am so glad I didn't.

After 2 years of fighting with VA to get my husband compensation for heart and other health issues and receiving nothing but denial letters I called CC&K. I wasn't sure how this could be done with me in another state, but they handled everything without a hitch. I was assigned a team, and they were like family.
