I was at the end of my frayed rope, as it were, afraid of losing what little I had after becoming homeless. My PTSD kept me from even seeking shelter for fear of being around people. Through all winter, freezing in my small, four door sedan at night, afraid of the places I had to park in order to not draw attention, Chisholm Chisholm & Kilpatrick was the one life line that was giving me any hope. I'd read great things about how they'd helped plenty of veterans in my situation and worse so I figured why not. Man, why not indeed. Able to soley work with them by phone I held out hope and by the spring I was awarded %100 permanent disability. Now I have a roof over my head and food to eat and more importantly I can try to enrich my life. I've already said thank you to this marvelous law firm but the words fall so short. You won't be sorry you choose them.

I trust CCK and would strongly recommend you give them your case. Before I was doing ok on my own, until the VA began deferring my claims and handling them ham-handedly, which suggested dishonesty. I didn't know what to do. How to act. I was furious about the sudden malicious treatment of my case. But I was scared too. It was like they were prepping my case to go into a void, stripping me of my current benefits, and making it all disappear into the dark. As I said, before this turnaround I did manage to get some benefits on my own through research. And that's how I already knew about CCK and other info services for veterans on the internet. Prior to CCK, I used VA Claims Insider. But they don't do anything that you can't do yourself. In fact, they only offer guidance, and you still have to face the VA alone. However, they charge just as much as lawyers for their services. I would not do it the same if I had to do it again. I'd go with CCK first. They're lawyers and they do everything. My case took a year and all I had to do was check the mail. CCK got my rating restored and then to the max.
