Scam! I signed up after attending a CWP class in 2020. I called in shortly after, (a month later) and cancelled it. That was the end of it. Never heard or say another thing from them. I didn’t receive membership cards, paperwork. Not a single thing. But why would I, I had cancelled it. I was combing through my bank statements and realized they had been charging me all along. I contacted them and they stated they hey didn’t cancel it. The representative I spoke with even said, “whoever you spoke to didn’t do it right”. I emailed customer care, and they said they weren’t refunding anything because I was covered. I never used the service, didn’t even know I had the service. I am being penalized because someone within the company did not do what they were supposed to by simply canceling. Not very reassuring if you actually need to use their legal services. There are much more reputable companies out there to chose from.

It is currently under new management so the issues experienced in the past are being corrected and the organization is 100% committed to their clients and the services that they provide. They provide so much more than just legal defense for self-defense, including seminars for education, newsletters, a new app download that has great information in it, and a community of like-minded individuals that you can be a part of. Have called several times and still don't have a membership card for my wife, like other reviewers have said. I also called their 'emergency attorney hotline' and nobody answered, what a joke. EDIT: My apologies, we had been away and the membership card for my wife was in our mail pile, sorry! Also, the attorney called me back after he missed my call.

A necessary Insurance to represent you should you need to defend yourself or family.

Been with them for a couple of years and let me tell you that the lawyer in Chicago is a joke, he will try to extend your case as long as possible. And when you call to complain they want to ask if the lawyer was appointed to you by them or did you find him on your own. What a joke! And after all that they will email you saying "you aren't covered" do not get "covered" by them, you might as well have your own personal lawyer on standby.
