I've been fortunate to have benefited from Charles's services and expertise for a number of years, for both my personal needs and also our company's. Recently I contacted Charles to draw up a new Will and Family Trust for our family. As one would imagine this is a very emotional task and the focus on every detail and word is essential. Charles and his staff made this amazingly simple, and they were very sensitive to and supportive of our concerns and desires. The entire staff is very professional, and they guided us through every step and our Family Trust was a very detailed project, but they made it so very easy. I am grateful for all their professionalism and their assistance on this. Rebekah helped us with a pretty complicated estate plan. We needed two wills and two trusts to meet the needs of our blended family. I met Thom Rogers at a national estate planning attorneys' conference in the mid-1990's. He was a great communicator when presenting tax matters seminars. Thom also conveyed the importance of being client focused in the practice of law. My career in estate planning law was enhanced greatly by having met Thom and I attended as many of his Continuin Legal Education programs as possible.
Three years ago I had an opportunity to co-counsel with Thom on an estate administration in Florida. I was very impressed with the organization of Thom's office and the professionalism displayed by all of the attorneys working in his office. More importantly, Thom answered questions that I had regarding the federal tax aspects of the estate and kept the administration in Florida moving forward.
He left all of the client communications in my hands. We developed a great working relationship and instilled trust in the client that together we could handle all of the many issues involved. She has continued to provide 5 star service every step of the way...from my mother’s death, property sales, a remarriage, and finally wrapping up my parents’ estate after my father’s death.
Julia’s extensive expertise in the law, taxes and real estate means you don’t need to involve multiple professionals—she can deal with just about any issue that comes up in a professional and timely manner.
My only regret is I no longer live in California, so I must find a new attorney. They will have big shoes to fill!

Julia assisted my sister and I with our fathers probate down in California. We had previously been working with another attorney that literally did nothing for us. He dragged his feet and never even so much as present simple paperwork to the courts after 6 months of employing him as our representation. We promptly parted ways with that attorney and were directed to Julia. I can tell you that the work she did for us was a breath of fresh air. She was extremely prompt in all of her responses and thorough in her communication. She went to bat for us in court to try to get things sped along as the previous attorney had left us in a tight bind and delayed the probate closing by 6 months. I'am not an attorney but I do have a great background in client services and I can speak for my sister and myself by saying that Julia was a delight to work with and left both of us with a sense of ease knowing that she was getting everything done for us. He is passionate about and highly skilled at his profession.
He is experienced, knowledgeable, intelligent, and has phenomenal listening skills. He is accessible, and responsive, and overall a great communicator. He is compassionate and is dedicated to achieving the best possible results.
He seemed to understand the mentality of my siblings and the situation I was facing with them as they had not only put themselves in charge of my mothers estate, but quickly alienated me upon our mothers sudden deterioration and death.
The highly emotional situation was very challenging for me as emotions clouded my perception and hindered my ability to navigate the manipulative actions of my siblings.

Where to begin?! In June of 2019 I was placed in a very scary legal situation during my professional career.
